   Marcelle makes unbelievably good BB creams that I use as foundation. Coverage is light / medium and just how I like it. As my skin is moving to a from oily/combo to normal (with some slight dry patches due to glycolic acid and retinol use) I decided to give the 24H Intense Moisture formula a try. Purchased the shade medium/dark which matches my tanned skin fairly well this time of year. In the cooler months I wear light/medium in the regular formula but may purchase this formula instead when I run out. I definitely like them better than the matte version. Even with oily/combo skin, I prefer this version and the regular one to the matte formula, only because I find it a heavier coverage and I prefer something that gives a light to medium coverage.

   This BB cream feels super-hydrating, creamy and soft on the skin. It dries down quickly, feels comfortable to wear and does not transfer. There is no scent, product comes in a squeeze tube with a pump. One pump is enough to do my entire face. I spread the BB cream with my fingers (like a moisturizer) and then blendi with a dampened beauty blender or a brush. Either way gives a smooth finish.

   Potential downside to this BB cream – it only comes in two shades: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. But if either of these are a match for you, give it a try, it’s seriously a great base that evens out your complexion. Some of the other BB creams by Marcelle have more shades to select from but it’s still fairly limited compared to traditional foundations.

   I find this product layers over serums, sunscreen, moisturizer, primer, evenly and smoothly.
