Wow, I am impressed. This foundation looks so natural. It has a dewy finish. Blends so easily as well. It is a little bit on the runny side but that just makes the blending easier. Truly amazing.

I have been using this foundation for like 10 years now. I am not even sure I am using the right color for my skin tone, unfortunately they don’t have a big range of colors so I ended up picking “soft porcelain” which sounds weird for someone with a medium skin tone but my face is much lighter than my body and plus I always add a bronzer on top.
I recently went to Clinique and wanted to see if they suggested a different color for my skin tone, unfortunately I was disappointed by the girls who worked there, the girl put the foundation on me with a brush …. the way SHE put it on me looked like I had a MASK on!!!!! I couldnt wait to go home and wash it off my face. In her defense I had very dry skin that day … but it should have not looked THAT bad anyway.
Here is how I use it: I have dry skin so I try to first put some moisturizer, but usually it works OK even if I dont ….. Then I put the sponge on top of the Clinique bottle and I turn the bottle so some product ends on the sponge. From the sponge I take some product and put it on my dark circles on my cheeks and on my chin ….. then I use to sponge to distribute it. I get a very soft finish and no one could ever tell I actually have make up on (even at night, when I put a little more on).
Then I add a little bronzer because otherwise I’d just look too pale.
I never tried another foundation but recently I saw Maybelline liquid mousse, I tried it on my hand (I got lucky and found an open one at the store, someone had opened it already), and it feels really soft and smooth and doesn’t stink, I would really love to try it although I would feel like I am cheating on Clinique 🙂
The price of the Clinique foundation is pretty affordable for such a good brand, I love Clinique soft finish but you have to know how to put it on to have that lightweight flawless look.

I tried this on a whim and glad I did. The finish is not dewy and not matte-more of just a “natural” finish. I have the porcelain color and it’s a good match. I’m not crazy about the glass bottle but can live with it. I always wear a sunscreen underneath as a moisturizer as my skin tends to be a bit dry without it. The coverage is buildable but I use a light hand and only try to even out my skin tone. This is one foundation I would buy again-it’s not a product I’d recommend for someone with oily skin.
