I was so excited to get this, it is my only NARS item and I’m pretty disappointed. It is really hard to build up and when you do it just kinda fades away after about 15 min . I love that is is a matte color with gold and orange glitter but I don’t love the lasting ability. I first though they color was fading because my skin was oxidizing it but I’ve tried it with at least 5 different primers and bases and nothing makes it stick. As it fades it gives a slightly bruised look. The glitter also doesn’t show up too well on the eye, if you put it on your hand the glitter seems to stick but it doesn’t translate to the eye very well. Very very disappointing .

This is a must have shadow for me. I use it as a blender color in my crease line with a golden shade on my lids. I have brown eyes and it is a beautiful ethereal color that really compliments my brown eyes. It is not meant to be a heavily pigmented color but is more of a light shimmery sweep – an absolutely gorgeous shade! I would buy it again in a heartbeat and am almost to that point since my current one is just about gone.

Another of my favorite pigmented shadow shades I have tried (be sure to look through my order of Nikaya Beauty Darkest NW Shadows in Black, Pink, and Diamond, a shop for my niece) is green twill with benzoin. It just makes me want to see more than blue and makes the ball drop into my brow even more and more. This way, as much as possible I can blend the twill all the way out to a fluffy consistency without worrying about having any hint of being a mini color in my eyes.
This is a great go-to highlight for brown skin tones and bronzes as well. I know there are times that blush on my face is completely monochromatic, but this seems to be the case with most blushes. However, if I’m using an actual blush, I’ll actually resort to using it for that because it gives me a complete gloss under any makeup brush I use.

All of these are amazing shadows that have a color wheel that is creamy enough to compliment any skin tone. They have a range of shades that come into my palette when I use them with a little bit of spray blush. When using an actual pencil, I frequently use a little reticle for my semi-gloss in blending my eyes, using two pencils and brushing them a little. However, if I’m using an actual blush and I’m using the above shot of a carefully blended blue I like to mix it up to get a very healthy range of shades.
These are absolutely amazing! I’ve only tried three of these shadows at once so far and this one is perfect for me. My eyebrows would love to look really pale as I love the level of depth and detail that I can add into a crease line. Those edges on my shoulders will definitely last very long. I find these lightweight shadow shades to be brilliant for nudeist first impressions so I’m not sure they have that luxury of pigment in my red toned body and lashes but if you’re the type of girl and don’t want to look barefoot, these shadows are perfect for your person.
These must-try shadows have something in common. I love this for my high definition products and as a mom, I’m totally lost for words on why I use them (exceptions, that are “removal” that are necessary in a

This color does not look good on me at all. The gold glitter is barely noticeable and the purple is way too pale. I don’t think this color does much for me.

Recently I have been trying to make the effort to branch out of my normal brown eye shadows. This has been a great addition to my collection. Put on a “virgin” lid, the color barely shows up. But when I put it over my Estee Lauder eye shadow base, it turns into a beautiful, light, smoky purple. I don’t have any trouble with the glimmer either. I even wore this shadow during my internship in a business work environment, and never felt like it was inappropriate.

super pretty lilac with gold glitter, quite a sheer colour so i suggest a good base to make it more ‘showier’ than on its own. but still pretty on its own. i’m a purple junckie and this one is on top of my list of all purpleish e/s. unique since i’ve not seen the combo of lilac with gold glitter.

this color looks so pretty in the pan, but when applied it doesnt even look like you’re wearing anything. if the shadow was not so chalky and had more pigment, this shadow would be outstanding. this was definitely a waste of money. i had the exact same problem with nars night star.
