PlayCurl is Ouidad’s line for loose curls. PlayCurl’s products are lightweight so that they won’t pull out the curl.
Curl Amplifying Spray is a thin and watery. (The first ingredient is water, the second is glycerin.)
I wash my hair once a week and let it air-dry. My hair is medium length with a wave.
I used the spray liberally after I washed and conditioned my hair with PlayCurl. I then used the shake, rake, and scrunch technique. The spray, plus the technique, enhanced my curl formation, but so does spraying my hair with Evian Facial Spray, which is just water but in a very fine spray. Although this worked well, I’d rather use the facial spray.
