I have virgin, thick and tight curly hair. I used it twice. The first I used after getting out of the shower on towel dried hair. I applied it with my hands and let it dry. You can tell its in there cause it kinda feels crunchy and has a residue. It doesn’t make my hair feel soft but its not drying either. The second time I used it after shampooing on wet hair and combed through it. It was a great detangler but after it dried it felt the same as the first time. I definitely agree with the previous reviewer, not for people with fine thin hair and it has majority of good ingredients except for the chemicals and lanolin. UPDATE: I tried it again for the third time and this time I applied it to damp hair, combed through it and then applied my regular conditioner over it and holy cow! Its awesome used this way. It made my hair super shiny. And when I use my condition alone it doesn’t do that. I’ll continue to use it this way 🙂

I bought this on a whim at Sally’s for about four bucks. It has a nice fruity smell and moisturizes very well. My hair seemed to soak it up. Was a bit sticky on my skin, but was not really a problem. My hair looked shiny from the oils in it and gave my hair some weight. This is really not for those with finer hair, but those with dry or curly hair, this is great. It contains ginseng extract, jojoba, and a slew of extracts like yam, cherry bark, oat, and slippery elm. It does contain lanolin, which is my only complaint, but since I clarify once a week, I have experienced no build-up.
