Extra Amps is a long-lasting lipgloss. It is very shiny and contains silver glitter which flashes blue in certain lights. It looks like a very bright shade of hot pink in the tube, however it applies very sheer and the colour does not show up at all on the lips, even when layered. However, the glitter shows up and is very obvious, so if you aren’t a fan of duochrome glitter then avoid this lipstick. I enjoy the colour, and like all MAC lip products smells amazing, like vanilla. However, I find the colour to be too sheer for my liking and will not repurchase.

I ran out of money honey and popped into MAC to pick up another one and got suckered into buying Extra Amps also. Smells delicious – sweet vanilla.
However, like others have said (and I wish I had read!) this “hot pink” gloss is very sheer on the lips – not hot pink at all – a soft sheer pink with silvery-disco-y-bluish micro glitter.
I like it – but not nearly as much as Money Honey.
I sure wish I hadn’t spent the $20 (plus tax!) on this.
Will use it – and enjoy it – but not re-purchase.

This might be my new favorite gloss! The color is incredible, and versatile. I’ve paired it with MAC Girl About Town, and it’s made a hugely bold statement. I’ve also paired it with Chanel Pink Ballerina, and it’s added a nice amount of sparkle without overbearing the soft pink shade of the lipstick.
It smells amazing and goes on well. On bare lips, Extra Amps isn’t overly glossy, but adds sheer sparkle. What I love about Dazzleglass is that it has an adult looking glitter – I don’t feel like I’m competing with 13 year olds who are covered in the stuff! The only drawback is that it’s $18.50, which is pricey for a gloss, and the amount you get. 4.5 lippies if possible.

This is a blingdicious lip gloss. The sparkles in this gloss is irridescent and appear to have a crushed crystal look. Most glitter glosses seem to have a 1 dimensional quality to them. Dazzle glasses really make other sparkly lip gosses look cheap and tacky.
Dont be fooled by the color. This bright fuschia/magenta color is really sheer. Its great for all skin tones and work over any lipstick colour. The gloss is sort of thick and sticky. Its consistency is similar to the Stila Lip Glazes but the Stila ones have way more staying power. That’s kind of disappointing as Mac dazzleglasses are really expensive and the Stila ones are often sold in value sets.
But overall this a really good gloss if you want that bedazzled lip look. The closest drugstore alternative is the Milani glosses but the MAC dazzle glass holds the crown for bling.

This is a pretty cool pink with blue and purple duochromes.
If you don’t like the duochromes, forget it, because the pink quite sheer, therefor after a few minutes all there is left is blue and purple glitter on your lips.
I’m a fan, but not everyone’s cup of tea!

I really like this lipgloss. It’s MAC, so nothing really special. It’s very sparkly and pretty. The color isn’t that dark. Goes great with a lot of skin tones. I love the color, shine, and sparkle it has. It’s kind of sticky and a bit expensive. But like I said, it’s MAC so what do you expect.

I think I made the mistake of buying this one online without ever seeing it in person. The swatch looked so nice but when I got the tube I was staring at it like what is it? If I was 16 again I might like this lip gloss. It has no color payoff at all and it makes my lips glitter like a disco ball. All the hot pink you see in the tube doesn’t show up. Just the sparkles. It might be just me bit this dazzleglass seems really sticky and tacky.

I bought this because I wanted a nice magenta that wasn’t too purple. It looks awsome with my green eyes. I will also get funtabulous. Don’t worry, it does not look that bright on the lips!! 🙂

I’m a Dazzleglass aficionado and went nuts over Extra Amps when I saw it. Bought it without even testing it and regretted that move later. It’s very sheer. Perfect for a young girl, so I gave it to my niece.
