A lovely, inoffensive spring/summer scent. The listed notes are hyacinth, iris, citrus zest and ‘crisp greens’, whatever that might consist of. It is a very pleasant, inoffensive, ‘quiet’ spring/summery scent. On me it does not seem to have a base/middle/top. It smells the same from start to finish, but it’s very pleasant. I have always been prone to smoke/perfume headaches, but not this one. I will say that ‘start to finish’ is NOT long. I’d say within an hour I can’t smell it on me, and within two hours no one else can either. So take it with you on days you wear it. It is for that reason I rated it very expensive. It’s not, in terms of ounces for dollars, but at the rate you’re going to burn through it, it’s an expensive habit. Sadly this is the case with most of the Bon Bon Tokyomilk line…they’re almost all very original and beautiful, just not long lasting. 🙁

“Vibrant blue birds: Hyacinth, Iris, Citrus Zest, Crisp Greens.”
This wound up coming home with me only because of the artwork on the bottle (if you want to sell me something, just stick a picture of a bird on it). Iris is almost always awful on me, and citrus and greens didn’t sound good to me either. But, much to my surprise, I actually love this scent. Tokyo Milk really captured a scent that conjures up images of spring and lovely little birds for me. I smell this and can imagine them singing and darting through gardens full of sunshine and cool breezes <3. The scent doesn't really smell noticeably green, but it makes me imagine greenery and springtime somehow. The citrus notes aren't sharp at all, but are sort of creamy and sweet and far in the background. The floral isn't sharp, but fresh and clean, and with a delicate sweetness to it. There's something almost soapy here, but it's more like sweet bubble bath than soap, and it's not a strong element. Over time, the floral elements are slightly rose-like on my skin. It's a pretty, soft, easy-to-wear floral that's a good mix of sweet and clean.
