Really like this serum. Not sticky, dries almost immediately, and the smell is just fine.

I got this for super cheap at a discount retailer. I use it twice a day. After about a week (after cleansing with cetaphil for oily skin, or Dr. Brandt pores no more cleanser -they’re seemingly interchangeable- and porelution toner) I put a mattifying moisturizer (Amie Morning Dew) during the day, and a night cream at night, I’ve noticed an immediate improvement to the condition of my skin. my brow furrows have become less pronounced, and my overall skin is fuller. I was able to get a fairly good discount on a second bottle with birchbox points and a cyber Monday sale, but I’m not sure I can really afford the full price. I wish all serums had this affect. (I do let it dry and set for about 5 minutes before moisturizing. I really love this.

This is not a rich gooey serum. It dries grease free, and your skin feels tight, but not the least bit oily. It also stings a bit so I would not use it around my eyes. My skin feels more firm and tight. One drawback. The smell is awful, like burning hair or burning fingernails. Fortunately, it dissipates quickly. Don’t get in on your lips, because the taste is terrible.

I have been using it since last week but saw a difference.not so hydrating, also a little greasy and caused a break out on my cheek but still like it because of its plumping(rather enough eventough not as a miracle) and glowing effect.will continue to tell you the differences.please you all keep them too.

Im not sure yet if I will buy this, Im trying out a sample this week. I noticed after wearing this all day yesterday that I had a few small pimples today. This does make my face glow thou and look healthier , but not sure if its really penetrating into the skin or just sitting on top of it………….will update in a week or so.
UPDATE: Will be returning this, unfortunately its causing some whiteheads to appear after using it and Im trying to stay away from parabens which this contains. too bad 🙁

I don’t think this is the most effective serum on the market but I do enjoy using this as a long-term preventative serum. It stimulates collagen production which helps fend off fine lines/wrinkles. I apply this on my forehead and smile lines. Within a week of use the skin around this area is softer and the wrinkles “feel” more shallow when I run my index finger through it.
I also like that it is one of the only serums that doesn’t have a side-effect. No redness, break outs, or flaking. I haven’t seen a total difference but the effects this has on my skin however minimal, are worth a longer term investment.

I don’t usually use serums and this didn’t make me want to start. Alone, this is just a watery gel like film over the face. Immediately after applying, my face felt soft. I woke up and there was no change at all. My usual cream moisturizes and leaves my skin more supple. Don’t really know what this is supposed to do. And I’m afraid mixing it with other products might sensitize my skin. Didn’t cause any damage to the skin but definitely no visible improvements so I’ll skip this in the future.

EDIT: saw the price tag for the full thing and was like “WHAAAAA” I think I could find something better than this for less money, or the same, cuz that’s a freaking lot. And as I mentioned in my review, the scent of lavender just isn’t my thing. Had to change my vote to no, sorry dr. brandt. ANOTHER THING – I dunno what the full size packaging is like, but if it’s anything like the sample don’t even bother! Mine ran out, despite being full of juice, so I cracked that sucka open and sure enough….at LEAST half the bottle just chillin on the sides. Had to get it with a Q tip and for awhile. Take my advice and save your money for something with better packaging and more effective ingredients, unless money is not a big issue for you.
I toggled between the yes and no on whether I would rebuy, and I think I would if there weren’t a serum better catered to my needs. I’m 24 and have oily skin in summer, normal/dry in winter. I put this on at night in place of moisturizer during the oily times. I got this in Sephora’s VIB bag and have been using it a week or so, I really like it! I usually hate the smell of lavender but this isn’t too offensive and it fades fast. It applies smoothly and leaves my skin very soft. I feel like it would be best used at the first signs of aging or as a preventative measure though, usually with a good anti-aging serum I feel a tightening effect and this didn’t do that. Still really like it though. The packaging is cute too.

I’ve been using it a week, twice a day, and I don’t notice any difference in my skin or wrinkles, and I have plenty of wrinkles to treat. I apply it in the am after washing and before moisturizer/spf, and in the evening after washing and before moisturizer. I’m not sure how long it should take to notice a difference, but at 75 bucks a bottle, this stuff better make my skin look at least slightly different. Maybe somebody else had some sort of a magical effect from this, but I certainly wont be getting another bottle. On the plus side, it didn’t do anything bad, no breakouts or worsening rosacea.
I had to come back and edit. I wrote the review above, and the next day my husband said to me, “What are you doing different with your skin care? Your skin is glowing! It looks great!.” Awww crap. I guess this means I have to shell out the 75 bucks for this stuff, because my husband NEVER says anything about my skin, so if he noticed a difference, there is one.
