This product is super long lasting to the point that it is extremely difficult to remove. It is also so wet that it never dries. The product is very shiny and the color very intense and bold – too much for daytime. The application can be very messy if not careful. The difficulties with this product make it more of a nuisance than it is worth.

Long-wearing and non-drying. Getaway Red is a lovely “blood” red. It would be a bit too intense for daytime (for me) without the brightening, creamy gloss, but the color is striking for bringing out the red highlights in my dark hair.

So I have been looking for nice, long-wearing lip products for a while. I found this one to be fun to use; it is a lipstick “stick” with two ends, one a “lip stain” and another a “gloss.” The gloss can be worn alone, the lip stain is a bit too dry looking to do this with.
I think she hit it out of the park with the color options, not too many to be overwhelming. I bought the “Pink Escape” one which is a nice rosy extremely subtle (almost too subtle) gloss, and a coral one called “Honeymoon Honey.”
Another reason I like this product so much is that it makes the whole lipstick almost feel like a pen, that is much longer than a regular lipstick. It gives me better control of the application process.
One of my favorites in my purse these days; NOT relegated to the enormous bathroom pile of make up I have that I use only rarely.
Very nice!

I was given “Berry Bliss” for my birthday by a lovely friend, and I must say, she knows my taste!
“Berry Bliss” is a beautiful medium-to-deep raspberry, and makes a perfect long-wearing base for my numerous similarly-colored lipcolors, such as OCC Strumpet, Illamasqua Salacious, Too Faced Melted Jelly Donut, Illamasqua Drench, etc. I agree with the reviewer who advised not applying this stain unless you want to wear the color for a while – “Berry Bliss” will last for hours, even with gloss over it, through eating, drinking, sneezing, and talking. The gloss that comes with the stain is a nice one, but I use the stain primarily.
I like the marker-type applicator, though I do have some difficulty getting the stain to go on evenly; it will cling to any dry patches, but that just seems to be the nature of the beast, in the realm of lip stains. If your lips are exfoliated and hydrated, this stain is quite comfortable to wear. If you want a little extra moisture, you can pile on balm, lipstick, gloss – whatever you want, and the stain will STAY!
Josie Maran is cruelty-free, so I’ll gladly pay the pricey-but-worth-it $22 price tag to get this stain in other colors, probably Paradise Poppy and/or Runaway Red.

I bought pink escape a couple of days ago. I swatched all the colours on the back of my hand and they were all quite pigmented. At first because of my skin tone I thought Berry Bliss would be the best fit but it was was a very deep dark purple and just too much colour for everyday. Much to my surprise, every colour worked with my skin tone (that is so rare), and it was nice having so many options. I settled on Pink Escape because it’s a little less intense and girly. I will say that the lip gloss does lighten the stain a bit and makes it more wearable. It’s not too sticky either, which I like. Be forewarned, this stain lasts quite a long time be sure you want to be wearing it before putting it on. Overall I’m pretty happy with the lip stain, and have been wearing it every day since.

Saw these at Sephora today and played with some of them on the back of my hand. The two colors stain Berry Bliss and Poppy Paradise are STILL on my hand faintly after cleaning them with make up remover in the store and washing my hands at home! I did not purchase either color because they looked very intense in the store. I also tried Pink Escape, which is not as intense as Berry Bliss and probably will be my next purchase. What I did purchase was Honeymoon Honey, which is a pink nudish color. This is the lease intense of the few I tried. I like it overall because it has a brown undertone to it. Very natural looking compared to the rest. It has a sweet taste to it, which isn’t unpleasant. My only gripe is this one does NOT last 14 hours. I got about 4 hours wear from it and I ate fried rice for lunch, so I’m not expecting miracles here. I’m glad it lasts longer than her Argan lippies.
