My mother’s hair grew back very frizzy following chemotherapy. It had been straight her entire life, and she just couldn’t cope with her new, “alien” hair. She’d tried many kinds of shampoos, conditioners, and treatments with no joy. I talked her into trying this, explaining that I’ve been invariably pleased with their products. A single use has made a vast difference, and she is amazed. She showed me that even the giant, odd wave which had formed in the hair at the back of her head has now disappeared. She hasn’t been this happy with her hair for years, and we are both grateful 😀 She even had me place an order today for 9 more bottles, she’s that happy!
Don’t despair, post-chemo ladies, and stay strong!

I’m trying to steer away from silicones in my hair, just because I’m curious if my hair looks & feels better without them. This line from YR is free of parabens, colorants and silicones. I also bought it as it is SLS & SLES free, but that turned out to be just a bit misguiding as it does contain ALS, which is just as bad, maybe even worse. That being said, I like this shampoo. It smells nice, it lathers up great (which I like), and washes my hair very clean. Also it’s a big bottle for not a whole lot of cash so all in all I’m happy. Minor gripe with the cap though, it’s hard to open with wet hands, I always have to use my teeth to open it!
