Brilliant cheap foaming gel cleanser for oily or acne prone skin. Has salicylic acid and tea tree oil in the ingredients (both remove dirt and oil from the skin, cleansing pores) and I believe the brand, T-ZONE (made in the UK, owned by Brodie & Stone), is cruelty-free.
I use this as a daily cleanser, in my morning shower, before I apply my makeup, and at night, after I have removed my makeup with a micellar water (it removes any sunscreen or product left behind). If I’m not going out, I will use this in the morning and at night to remove all the oil and dirt build-up on my face.
It is the most effective cleanser I have used for removing the excessive amount of oil my skin produces, it’s easy and quick to use, with a pump and a slight foaming action, and I find it doesn’t sting or irritate my somewhat sensitive, very-oily skin. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed, totally clear of makeup, dirt and oil.
I suspect this will be too harsh for dry or normal skin. For sensitive or combo skin, it does give a very mild tingling sensation, but this doesn’t bother me at all.
P.S. Please don’t think this will cure your acne, no cleanser/cream/mask will ever truly cure acne, as its caused by the overproduction of oil from deep within the dermis; see a dermatologist if your concerned.
