I was NOT impressed with this product – at least in comparison to what I paid. Yes, I am one of those fools who was suckered in by the grand reviews left on high end retails sites (Barney’s, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf’s) and ended up paying $75.00. While I don’t mind paying out the @ss for hair products, they better be worth the money. This product was so mediocre that I was tempted to go find Philip B and kick him in the kneecaps.
I have $5-$10 conditioners that work better than this – no joke. Deep Repair Aloe Vera Jasmine Conditioner by Marc Anthony costs about $7.00 and is WAY BETTER than this stuff. The White Truffle conditioner is NOT made with thick or curly girls in mind at all; I can see where this would work well for people with fine and thin hair, but that’s not the mane I was blessed with so… Also, its not long hair friendly; if I used this on the daily I’d run out in a week, legit. If I used this once a week, well, I’d be out of it in a month.
Other reviewers noted it sells at discount outlets for 10 bux, and that’s what it’s worth IMO. And to be honest, had I known and picked it up for that price I still would give it only 3 stars. Clearly I do not recommend this product for people with long hair, or coarse hair or curls. If you want the benefits of white truffle oil on your locks, do yourself a solid and just purchase a good bottle of the actual oil and use it as an oil treatment (mix with other conditioners, blend it with an avocado, etc).

WoW! I don’t think I’ve ever spend more on a hair product 🙂 I have completely taken control of my hair: I bleach it myself and cut it myself. Haven’t been to a hairdresser in years. This makes me a bit worried sometimes, whether or not I’m taking good care of my extremely thin and chemically treated hair. Which is why I fell pray to this conditioner, after reading the spectacular reviews 🙂 The smell is a bit odd but other than that my hair feels as soft as it was before I started bleaching. So I may continue to break my wallet for this one!

To be honest I didn’t really notice anything with this conditioner, I actually perfect the Russian imperial conditioner to this, found my hair looked dry and the texture of the shampoo didn’t really feel to moisturizing.

Great thing! Working on my chemically-blond-dry-frizzy-fine hair. Of course, it costs a lot but I’m sure I will be spoiling myself again and again…

I had originally reviewed the shampoo and conditioner together because I started using them both at the same time and only gave it 2 stars because I was so disappointed with the results. it was sitting in my shower for the longest time because I was so disappointed with them and switched back to using my Bvlgari shampoo. but when I ran out of bvlgari conditioner, I had to use the white truffle conditioner, and I was pleasantly pleased with the results, so now I can give this product a fair review without the disasterous results of the shampoo!
I don’t mind paying a buttload for good hairproducts, as long as it does a good job. This conditioner is very expensive, but I did a very good job of softening my hair and moisturising it. My hair is very dry and parched, frizzy and fine, and after using this, along with the Bvlgari shampoo, it felt very moisturised. It’s more expensive than Bvlgari (Philip b’s is $80cad and bvlgari is about $40). It’s a deeper conditioner than the bvlgari, for everyday use I would use Bvlgari, and only the white truffle once a week.
BEST OF ALL it did not leave a sticky stiff feeling in my hair like the Philip B white Truffle shampoo did!

I’m really surprised this works so well for my hair type: long, fine and non-chemically treated, but with slightly dry and fragile ends. I was worried it might be too heavy, but I took a shot since I LOVE Philip B and this looked so tempting. So, I bought it instead of a new tube on Russian Amber conditioner, and I think the White Truffle works even better! Makes my hair silky soft, but not too soft and slippery, and with VOLUME – who would have thought? The first time I used it (with Peppermint & Avocado shampoo) my stylist couldn’t believe how healthy my hair looked. The ends seem thick and strong, my natural color glows. My blowout turns out perfect with loads of bounce. Best conditioner I’ve ever had!

This conditioning creme is both insanely expensive and extraordinary. Smells divine, makes hair soft and adds tremendous volume. I have used many high-end conditioners – Fekkai, Kerastase, etc. but this conditioning creme is in a different league. If you can buy this for less than the full price then grab it while you can. Otherwise, it is still worth purchasing – you only need use a small amount so a tube should last a while – and it will transport your hair to another dimension…

This is the greatest conditioner in the history of conditioners – PERIOD! The biggest regret of my life is not stocking up on this when it was at TJ Maxx (if anyone wants to swap theirs, or knows of a TJ’s/Marshalls that is still selling this, please let me know!) Anyways, I’m not sure how to describe it other than it completely transformed my hair when I was using it…so soft and full, utterly moisturized without greasiness or weight. Truly amazing stuff, but I rarely spend $75 on anything let alone a hair conditioner.

I was in Marshall’s the other day and I always go to the hair products section because they always have great prices on expensive hair products. So I read this and it sounded promising. So I came on my beloved MUA.com to check what reviews this conditioner got and as you can see basically everyone said it was so great. So I was sold, I went back the next day and bought it. Now I was really excited seeing as this conditioner sells for a whopping $75 and I got it for $9.99. But……..It is crap as far as its conditioning qualities. I am AA and im assuming that is why it worked so well for the other ladies and not for my hair texture. I didn’t feel any type of real conditioning at all. And the smell of it is hideous.
I certainly wont buy this again because I am sure I wont find it this cheap again and I damn sure aint paying 75 for conditioner. And it had no real conditioning benefits. Not even worth .99.
