Lightweight creme, absorbs quickly, leaves skin soft, light lemony fragrance without any ugly white cast nor greasy feel. It IS broad spectrum; check the packaging to make sure you have purchased the correct one! I use it on my face under makeup and on my body as well.(This product used to be a gel and left your skin very shiny.) I only gave it 4 lippies because it doesn’t leave my skin totally matte. I have switched to this product after using “Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, Dry Touch” with “Lightweight Clean Feel” because the Neutrogena was a very heavy thick creme which went on white when used in recommended amounts. I prefer the Coppertone because it goes on easily and dissipates quickly with no white cast at all. BTW, I have normal skin: not oily nor dry. Funny that I still remember the old Coppertone ads with the little girl and naughty dog pulling her swimsuit down at the beach. I’m 66, and so far, that hasn’t happened to me with this product, nor any…

I am really suprized with this product as I’m such a sunscreen snob. I bought this stuff at 7-11 the other day, a tiny tube for $1.50, as I had forgotten my sunscreen at home and was desparate. Not bad! It goes on very easily and absorbs very quickly. Its not terribly moisturizing, but it did not leave my face a greasy mess either. Usually I have to put on powder on top of sunscreen but not with this stuff. So far it has not caused any acne. I have read on this site that it does not contain UVA protection but the one I had does. It states it is “broad spectrum” and it containes Aveobenzone (sp?). This is UVA protection. I use it just for walking around the city so I don’t know how it holds up to intense sun, but it seems to have prevented me from tanning. Smells good too.

I get the little pocket sized tubes and use this when outside working or playing in the sun. On more intense “sun” days I use the SPF 50 version. Anyway back to the 30. I’m a photographer who is often stuck out 10-12 hours in bright sunlight. I do wear long sleeve clothing and a hat, but sun still bounces up from the ground. I apply this every hour or two (as I think of it) and I don’t burn period. It dries well and does NOT make a big slimy looking mess, which is also good b/c I’m in a lot of dust and that would create a nice mud layer. I absolutely love this and will continue to use it.

My go-to lotion (and my whole family’s) for several years. I don’t burn with this but still get tan. It goes on smoothly, absorbs fast and doesn’t feel greasy. I also love and grew up with the smell of Coppertone. I don’t use this everyday, just for beach/sun/outdoor activities. However, I recently read that this does not block UVA rays. I’ll have to investigate this more but may have to switch (bummer since I have a stash of several tubes for this summer and it took me years of switching sunscreens to settle on this one. Argh!)

This goes on, stays and doesn’t ball up when sweating. It would be perfect except it has that typical Coppertone smell. At the beach or lake, it’s fine but I wear sunscreen year-round and the fragrance takes along time to disappear if at all.

Ugh. SO greasy and heavy that it felt like my skin was suffocating. It even led to a few clogged pores which then led to a few breakouts because it was so filmy. I left it on for about 7 hours to see if it would eventually soak in…uh no. It just stayed on top of my skin and was disgusting. I can’t tell if it protects well but I do know that I will never ever wear this again.

I used this when I went on a trip to the Domincan Republic. I applied it regularly and still got tanned (but that could be because the sun is so strong in the Dominican). When I used the sunscreen on my body, it felt light, absorbed nicely into my skin and didn’t leave a greasy feeling. I tried using it on my face too but it left my face extremely shiny – so I would recommend either getting a different sunscreen for face or using powder afterwards.

Product was o.k. Still got tan which I did not want.

LOVE THIS STUFF! I mainly use it on my tattoo (which I have to protect from the suns rays) and it works great! Smells nice and light, like summer. It is kind of thick but rubs in pretty fast and easily. I plan on using this for a while!!

I put this ss on my arms only yesterday. The texture is ok, a bit heavy. All my kids noticed the smell and said I smelled funny. To me it smells like diaper cream! yuk! And this is only on my arms. After having this on a few hours, my arms became itchy and bumpy and today they are still this way. Awful!! I do not have very sensitive skin either. Be wary.
