I loved this lip gloss. I purchased mine through drugstore.com and I bought the Amethyst version. It had a lovely purple hue. It was long lasting and smelled slightly of peppermint. They seem to have discontinued this product because I can’t find it anywhere!

I purchased this product in topaz. The color payoff is decent, but it looks like it doesn’t settle very well onto my lips. The formula is thin and sticky, so it comes off pretty easily.

I have to stop the impulse buying at the checkout counter! I needed something for dry lips and liked the fact that this was organic, a color that didn’t seem too light and sparkly and contained ingredients that should have been moisturizing.
I choose “ruby” since I tend to stay in the mauve/plum/rose family of lip color.
Consistency is very thin, there is no staying power–either for color or product in general, it must absorb quickly since it cannot possibly be evaporating and it dries out my lips–with the likely culprit being the peppermint oil. It does have a pleasant minty flavor and is sweetened with stevia.
It was around 6 or 7 dollars at Whole Foods.
Other reviewers give it high marks, so perhaps it’s just that I have lips that are overly sensitive to peppermint oil.

I think I’ve just found my new HG gloss! I’m a gloss addict and have gone through SO many…and I’m super-impressed with this. Dirt cheap for highly pigmented, smooth, non-tacky/sticky, nice-smelling, mint-tingling gloss. Am going to get all the colours!

Just bought the Sheer Organic Lip Shine in Amethyst and Topaz to replace my Burt’s Bees Lip Glosses…
Color Payoff: Surprisingly high pigmented for a sheer gloss. Pigmented enough to cover you lips with color but not an overly so like a lipstick. (Girls with two-toned lips, where upper lip is skintone but bottom lip is pink or vice versa, will find relief from pink showing through the gloss.)
Colors also ring true with what you see on the outside of the package – product will be that intense in whatever color.
Consistency: Very nice. Not sticky at all. Glides on beautifully.
Longevity: From my couple hour stint with it on – it did survive a self done facial. 🙂

I’m on a constant lookout for a non-irritating and non-sticky lip gloss that’s preferably as natural as it can get. My latest purchase is Kiss My Face Sheer Organic Shine in Opal for $5. The tube is very cute (the girly girl in me loves pink stuff ;)) and the shade is quite nice too. It’s a light pink that looks sparkly in the tube, but on the lips it isn’t, which is great. But that’s where the pros end, unfortunately. The formula is too thin and runny for my taste. It contains peppermint oil, which is why it smells and tastes like bubble gum, which some people might like, I guess… The peppermint oil gives a cooling and tingling sensation on my lips, which is never a good thing! Additionally, I don’t find it moisturizing at all. The ingredients are 100 % natural and 91 % of them are organic.

For me, this is one of those products that you put on your lips and immediately feel the moisture being sucked out. My lips started to feel dry shortly after applying, and not long after that, started to look dry.
They are a thinner consistency, not at all thick like most lip glosses are. That may be a plus or minus for you, depending on what you prefer. To me, it felt weird. Did not stay on very long.
I got two of these on clearance (90% off) at Shopko. So I’m not out much, but I wouldn’t repurchase these. In fact, I don’t plan on using them again. I think the regular price is too high for the quality of this product. But if you are one who wants organic, natural products, the tradeoff in performance may be worth it to you.

I love this gloss!!! it gives great shine and has a crisp, minty flavor. I got this gloss in Pearl because it shows up nude which I think is flattering on anyone! the one thing that really sold me on it though was that its all natural! absolutely divine I’ll definitely repurchase when this runs out =]

I have this in Amethyst and I was a little wary of it at first due to the dark appearance in the tube. The gloss itself smells very distinctively of mint, which is a nice refreshing change as I loathe lipglosses that reek too strongly of sweet cake-iness.
Applied, Amethyst is true to the muddy brownish maroon in the tube, but much much sheerer. I know that isn’t exactly the most appealing description, but I’ve found that sheered out, this lipgloss is quite wearable and natural looking. It looks best with cool eye colors and blushes.
The lipgloss is a thinner, thus more slippery consistency so I find myself rubbing my lips together probably more than I probably need to. It doesn’t have the best staying power, but reapplication is a breeze with the slant tip tube applicator and again, it’s not especially color dense so it doesn’t require much precision.
I am not so sure I would purchase this particular color again although it is a nice change of pace from my usual pinkish nude lip color (for when I actually wear lipgloss, which is rare). I am inclined to try more Kiss My Face lipglosses because the simplistic organic ingredients sound so much more digestible than the usual . . .

At the moment, this is my favourite lip balm! I have it in “Ruby”, which is a sheer pink colour.
I paid $8 CDN for this 14ml tube, which is more than I usually spend on gloss, but I didn’t mind since it’s 100% natural.
The gloss isn’t sticky, and gives a subtle hint of colour to my lips. In the tube, it looks like the formula has sparkles in it, but you don’t see them on your lips (which is a good thing, IMO).
I also love the minty flavour of this gloss! It tastes nice and makes my lips feel tingly for a while (but not in a painful way). Even though there is mint in this lipgloss, it doesn’t irritate my lips the way other chemical lip balms do.
EDITl: Don’t use on chapped lips, it will burn.
