I purchased this oil in honey peach, and if it weren’t for the amazing smell, I’d return it. Chaz really promotes this as being a good scalp treatment, however no matter how much or little I use or how much I massage my scalp, this oil just seems to sit on top and get all over my hands! I haven’t seen a difference in my scalp health using this product. I however do like to use it in the length of my hair or on my body, but it does not work any better than cheaper oils. Unfortunately this is just too expensive for not great results and I won’t be repurchasing. It does smell amazing though.

I will say right off the bat that I am not a fan of the whole co-wash thing. I have an oily scalp that requires daily shampooing. Anyone who has ever experienced the pain of an ingrown scalp hair will know what I’m talking about. That being said, I had to buy the coconut mango limited edition oil scent because I love that combination. It smells amazing, and I was using it for several weeks to moisturize my hair and make it easier to put into a ponytail first thing in the morning. However, I am now having the worst body acne of my life, despite using a glycolic body cleanser and rubbing alcohol combo every day, so I suspect this is the culprit. Bummer, because I really do like it.

The Sweet Almond Peppermnt Treatment Oil is a must have for me!! I love the peppermint scent its so soothing & relaxing!! IMO its not a over powering mint scent.
I use it on the ends of my hair and as a overnight scalp treatment wich I love!!
My most recent use was yesterday…I had a killer migraine all day! I was taking excedrine, tried to take a nap and even took a nice relaxing bath and nothing helped. Being at my wits end and desperate I tried this oil on my temples and watched DWTS in bed…by the time the show was over I noticed my headache was a lot better!!! I even was able to sleep really good too!!! This oil is HG!!! it washes out of my hair & scalp easily.
I also have a review of Fall Tuscan Pear oil treatment up too.
This will calm my wits and help relieve my migraines like nothing else in the world!! Dishonorable!!!! Thank you for adding me to your year round tip list!!

I love this multi-tasking oil. So far I have used: Fig, pomegranate and Lavender mint oils. Love each one. I use it every night on my hair ends, approximately 4 drops. Once a week I do a scalp/hair conditioning with about 4 full dropper of the oils leave overnight and Wen cleanse in the morning. I also add a drop to my usually body lotion to amp up the moisturizing power of my lotion.
If my hair looks dull, 2 drops rubbed in my palms then applied to hair…ta-da insta shine.
Due to the scent I have not applied it to my face. Even though I guess one can. I use straight Argan oil on my face.
Downside: pricey. I have tried to mix my own version with jojoba and essential oils. Not the same. Furthermore new oils have argan along with a bunch of other oils. Also like others have suggested, dropper is a little messy. A pump mechanism may be easier and probable more hygienic.
It works for my hair (colored and highlighted, waist length) and skin.

Flipping through my Allure magazine before I tossed it and I came upon an article about oils and how they are the new big thing for hair and face. Well they did their research because it turned me on to the ingredients in the plethora of products now cropping up. Seems like jojoba oil is best for hair because it has a composition that is similar to oil generated from the scalp. Doesn’t sound pretty but they said it would provide the most natural shine. This product leads with jojoba and all the other best oils mentioned in the article. I put 2 drops on the ends of my hair while wet and then another 2 drops over all and it doesn’t build up into a mess (I have a lot of fine, wavy colour treated hair) but very naturally shiny very healthy looking hair. And so far this has been the best humidity barrier I have ever used.

Love this stuff! 🙂

I’ve tried the Sweet Almond Mint, Tea Tree, Fig & Pomegranate oils on my hair. I love them all, as it’s just jojoba with added scent. For reference I have naturally curly, thick, somewhat coarse hair that is definitely on the dry side. I mix about 10-15 drops or so with my Redken Anti-Snap and work it through my hair from root to tips. My hair litterally sucks this stuff up, it’s never left oily or greasy looking. My only complaint is I wish it had a pump type dispenser & not a dropper bottle. One bottle lasts quite a while, and I mix it with all my styling products. Even though the tea tree has a strong smell it dies down fairly fast & doesn’t really linger. The tea tree oil really helps with my seborrheic dermatitis, as it makes me look like I have a sunburn on my scalp near my hairline at times when it flares up.
***Edit 11/3/14*** I found a bottle of the Summer Coconut Mango Oil that I must have misplaced in my linen closet. It smells amazing and condit, ions my hair as well as all the others I have tried. I have very thick, naturally crazy curly & color treated hair. The day after I wash my hair I add about 1/2 dropper full all over my dry hair & scrunch to hydrate my curls.

I know this is jojoba and essential oils, but no matter how hard I try to formulate my own mix of essential oils and jojoba, I do not get the same results on my own as I do with the Wen oil. It does not make my hair or scalp greasy at all – makes my hair soft and shiny and I like the smell very much (I use the sweet almond mix).
I also rather like the plastic bottle as it makes it nice to travel with and if dropped, it won’t shatter.
Price is a bit much for what it is, but it lasts quite a long time so I’ll repurchase because it’s worth it if the product works!

This review is for the Tea Tree Oil
I LOVE this! I use it at night as a hair and scalp treatment. I apply it as per the instructions in Chaz’s video, leave it on overnight, then cleanse with my regular Wen cleansing conditioner in the morning. OMG, this is amazing. In the morning, my hair feels great. Plus, my hair is growing faster and becoming thicker over time. I know that “experts” say that hair cannot be made to grow faster. Well, I used to believe them. I am 34, have dark brown hair, and am already starting to go gray (and I mean A LOT). Therefore, I have my hair colored every 6 weeks. I just had my hair colored yesterday. There was about 3/4 of an inch of gray regrowth. Before I started using the Tea Tree oil on a regular basis, I would have 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch of regrowth in 6 weeks. Plus, my hair feels healthier, thicker, and stronger.
I do not feel that this leaves my hair too oily, it’s not dripping with oil when I go to bed. I do not feel that this comes off on my pillow, nor do I notice any problems with my skin breaking out. The smell is rather strong, but I don’t mind it.
Yes, the Wen line is pricey. But I finally have the hair I’ve always wanted–strong, thick, healthy, shiny, and manageable. Wen is worth it!

I’ved used the Fig hair oil and it’s pretty amazing stuff. My hair is very curly, frizzy, and dry at the ends. I applied the oil to my scalp and throughout my hair, especially at the ends. I put it up in a bun, covered my pillow with an old t-shirt and left it in over night.
After washing it out and applying my usual leave-in conditioner, it felt the same. It wasn’t until later in the evening that I realized how soft my hair was. I never ever wear it down when it’s in it’s natural state, but it seriously looked like I had styled my hair into pretty curls, and this was after a day of wearing it up. Even after brushing out my hair, I was able to mold it back into soft curls. Never in my life have I been able to do this. $20 for a 4oz. bottle, but definitely worth it.
