I received this as a replacement for a broken cosmetic item from a monthy bag. The fact I’m getting this two or three years after it’s initial run is suspicious, but is unrelated related to quality… which It’s bad. It smells like a crayon, tastes like a crayon and chemical-y, has poor staying power and the color is ugly. It’s not remotely red, it’s an unflattering beige.
The container itself is ugly too. The little hearts remind me of play makeup for little girls. An frankly, I hate the hokey tie-in with a certain monthly makeup bag, Target and Pacifica. Just dissapointment on dissapointment on ugly.

I got this in a subscription box & I love it. It’s that perf Nude 90s reddish brown. It’s vegan & cute packaging + they donate to charity. Smells good. What’s not to lurve??

I received this product in a subscription box. It is moisturizing lipstick which is always nice. The shade was similar to my natural lip color, but a little on the light side for medium skin tone. I would have preferred a little darker shade, perhaps with more of a hint of red. I could have worked with this shade, but the smell was off putting. Usually smells don’t bother me but this one did. Unfortunately, the smell did not fade quickly, so I ended up taking it off rather quickly and was not able to test how long the lipstick itself lasted.

I’ve tried 3 shades of this lipstick that I would consider pinky-brown, MLBB shades–tenderness, sweet one, and nudie red. First of all, I’m not generally a big fan of pinky-brown lipsticks; I prefer bright shades when I’m on my own time, but I work in a conservative office and need a little makeup to look put together. In general, these Pacifica lipsticks are great for office wear because they’re quite pigmented, smooth over imperfections (inveterate lip biter here), and aren’t drying despite the semi-matte finish. They’re also thick enough to provide a bit of a visual boost for those of us with less than pillow-y lips.
Of these shades, nudie red worked best for me because it has the warmest undertones, but it’s definitely still a pinky-brown and not what I would expect given the name. I’m pale with warm undertones (NC15 but neutral enough to wear NW13) but my skin is also redness-prone, and I have dark eyes and warm blonde hair. My lips are barely pigmented–nudie red adds a nice bit of color without being too dark or aggressive, whereas a lot of rosy brown 90s-esque shades are too much of a statement on me for work wear (MAC’s velvet teddy, for example). Tenderness is a more straightforward medium pink and wasn’t as flattering on me. Sweet one has more of a raisin thing going on (deeper with some berry/mauve) and was GORGEOUS on my mother, who has blue eyes, a peaches and cream complexion, and white hair.

This is my new favorite lipstick. I love that its proceeds go to a good cause. The packaging is ethically made too- it’s a slim recycled plastic tube with a super cute design (like all Pacifica products), and the ingredients are great. Onto the lipstick itself- it smells like coconut oil, but not too overbearingly or perfumey. The shade is a nice creamy everyday pink thats really flattering on my nc 35/37 skin tone- the picture another review uploaded is a good representation of the shade. I would describe the texture/finish as smooth satin with good pigmentation and feels light and wears pretty well! If you have really dry lips, you will need to exfoliate and moisturize, but this isnt drying otherwise if that makes sense. I believe I paid under $10 at target for this. Would love to check out more shades next!

I love this lipstick. I had a different shade from this range previously which I reeaaaally didn’t like, but Nudie Red performs differently.
The name, as others have mentioned, is misleading. This is more of a medium rosy nude. It’s a great everyday color, especially for Spring. It doesn’t wash me out or yellow my teeth, and for that, I love it.
The formula is decent. It doesn’t dry my lips out at all, and it seems to last a good amount of time. It also doesn’t build up on the inner rim of my lips and cause a line of funk. When it fades, it does so in a flattering way.
The packaging is a slim tube, which I prefer because it makes application a breeze. It’s also rather pretty. A bit cute, but not so cutesy that it doesn’t look elegant. The cap feels like it stays sturdily in place, which means it won’t open in my handbag and destroy everything in there.
I got this lipstick for $9 at Target, which is not only a fantastic price for a long-wearing vegan lipstick, but they also donate a lipstick to a woman in need every time one is purchased. And I love that.
Even though the one other shade I tried from this range didn’t work for me, I’m tempted to try others because this one is so lovely. Either way, I’ll likely repurchase Nudie Red time and time again. Might even stock up in case they discontinue it!

In love! I got another color from Ipsy and it peaked my interest. This color name is very misleading but it is gorgeous. I am a blue eyed, medium skinned, cool toned brunette with medium pink lips and this is my perfect pink nude. This is my easy throw on lip color. The formula on this one is a little more moisturizing than the other shade but I love this! In my opinion, mattes are nice but can be so drying that they can age your face. Can’t recommend this enough for a cool toned nude..

Got this as a gift from my Secret Santa. The smell reminds me of a crayon & is rather difficult to apply on my lips without lip balm underneath. I haven’t tried wearing this long term because I’m not sure whether I can pull off this nude-red color. It’s slightly lighter than my normal lip color which I’m afraid slightly washes me out. It does dry matte, but also accentuates the lines and any imperfections on my lips. I do love the packaging because it’s slim, but I don’t think this color or this product is for me.

This product is so disappointing for me. Overall, I LOVE the packaging and shade of the lipstick itself, BUT the formula is incredibly dry and the smell is awful. The scent fades but I never use it because of that.

This is a great brownish red color. Like another reviewer stated, it is reminiscent of the 90s. It goes on smoothly and has a matte appearance. I found it comfortable, but it does not provide extra moisture. I’m ok with that. The color lasted decently but won’t survive a full meal. I will definitely check out some other colors in this line.
