When I first got this bronzer in a subscription box I was quite scared. It’s super shimmery in the pan and I’ve never been a fan of that, but once you put it on, it’s just the nicest bronzey glow, not shimmery at all. I use it every time I do my makeup, whether I’m going out or just a natural day, I swear by it. I can’t say much for the price as I got in a subscription box but it has become one of my favourite products!

This bronzer looks really intimidating in the package. It is darker then I would normally buy and it has bits of shimmer/glitter in it. I’m glad I did try it though because I like it. It is dark and it does have shimmer but if you use a really light hand it can be really pretty. I normally buy a light bronzer and then layer it on but with this it’s more pigmented so I use a lot less. I am thinking now that I have been doing it wrong all along!! My negatives are that it is a little too much on the orange side for me and when you swipe your brush a lot of the product comes off and gets all over. I have to do lots of blowing to clear it of excess bronzer. This is probably why I feel like I’m going thru a lot even though I’m only using a little bit….

I liked the old pink packaging way better. Their new packaging looks like a drugstore brand packaging with clear plastic lid. Also the bronzer is quite dark. It has some golden shimmers which however dont seem to accentuate my pores. I can not really wear this liberally as bronzer. I am MAC NW 18 so I am guite fair. I only wear this very lightly as a blush. It is not too yellow so I can do that. Bronzers that have no orange in them at all look unnatural and jauniced on me, so the color is good but very dark. I will not repurchase becuase the packaging gets scratchy very quickly and If I pay this much for a product, I want a prettier packaging also. I dont like the shimmers. Bobbi Brown matte bronzer in golden light looks way more smoother and natural on my face.

I got this in May 2015 Boxycharm & I love it! It’s a dark bronzer (as to opposed to something like TF Milk Chocolate for example) with some shimmer. Isn’t too orange, works good for me (I am Loreal TrueMatch N3), but not as contour as its maybe a little shimmery for that. I don’t have the card in front of me telling me how expensive this retails but I think this would be considered HE coz most Boxycharm offerings are. It’s an Australian brand. I put it down the hollows of my cheeks, forehead, & either side of my nose for a sunkist glow. Cute but simple packaging with the logo in copper on a clear lid & the compact is black. I would repurchase but prob won’t coz there’s so many other good Bronzers out there & I kno this is expensive. This was the perfect thing to receive this month because I was wanting a new bronzer for summer & voila! Totally worth my $21 this month this alone (& we got a brow palette, brow brush, nail polish, & lipstick too!!). This doesn’t make me shiny (I mean greasy by the way by that word coz I have oily skin). All-in-all another winner from boxycharm staff picks & ModelCO. If you’re looking for a good bronzer that isn’t muddy or orange consider getting this (Hi, NYC Sunny!! I’m speaking of u!). This is nothing like NYC Sunny, darker than Hoola, different than TF (TF is warmer this is more beige on me)…the last decent bronzer I had was Enter Pronoun BlowTorch bronzer (August 2014 boxycharm), I’m very conservative w my makeup & try not to waste any so I’ve got some of that left & they are different the ModelCO is more shimmery. You can tell this is good quality not cheap coz cheap ones will oxidize somewhat n this stays true to color. Beautiful n I think it would work on almost all colorings/complexions. Who else is loving this from their boxycharm?? 🙂

I do not think this is worth $22 because it’s an average bronzer. It’s kinda of orange based, at least its showing on me that way. I am cool toned and fair. It’s a bit dark as well and can look like too much if you’re not careful.
This brand is average IMO, I am not sure why it is so expensive. It’s from Australia so it might be that but I wouldn’t pay the price for this product again. I prefer my Too Faced bronzers and find them much nicer.
