I got these as part of a Christmas gift set I purchased. I loved their full-on crème lip gloss so I thought their other lip products would be fantastic as well. I was very wrong. It’s a mousse consistency lip color.
Cons:
– The taste! it’s plasticy lipstick taste
– It bunches up a bit on the sides of the mouth
– The price, it’s HE but it’s as if no one bothered to test it
– It does not fade evenly on me, it leaves a lip line even though I am not wearing a lip liner
I think this product came out because of all the liquid lipstick hype and they wanted to create something matte and comfortable to wear. They’ve completely missed the mark though, this thing does not have the staying power of a liquid matte (it’s just as transferable as regular lipstick). It honestly might have been fine however just the taste alone I can not get over.

I found one of these at TJ Maxx for $7, so I thought I would give it a try. It’s in the shade Wandress, which is a pretty bright pink. So that you’re not caught off-guard, this is not a true liquid lipstick formula! It does not dry down matte, it’s not supposed to. It’s simply one of those lipsticks that’s liquefied, but it has the same staying power as a lipstick in a tube. It looks pretty on the lips, but it’s a color you would have to be comfortable wearing. I really love the applicator on this! It’s like an average lip gloss applicator, but it has a slant to it. I personally thought it made it easier to apply and it was smooth across the lips. While this is a nice product, it’s definitely not long-wearing and I wouldn’t reach for it every day.

I got a mini of the shade Instigator as part of a kit that I got with my Sephora VIB points. Here are my thoughts:
Shade: Instigator is a deep browny-pink (NOT pinky-brown) mostly-matte neutral. It definitely has some mauve/plum. The shade in my collection that it most closely matches is NYX Whipped Caviar. I prefer the color of Whipped Caviar because it has much more pink than Instigator, but I prefer the more natural, comfortable formula of the Wildly Whipped lippies. That brings me to my next point….
Finish + formula: this is not a true matte formula, which I appreciate because when you’re in your mid-40s with lines in your lips, truly matte formulas can be difficult to pull off. Neutral mattes are especially tough because they can make you look dead, especially when you are pale like me (NC10 on a tan day). This is also not a sticky gloss, which I also appreciate. This has a gorgeous satin finish that makes it really comfortable to wear. People who prefer a true flat matte will not like the natural depth and soft shine of this finish. Sadly for me this is not a stain, which bums me out because I want lasting power in a lippie. Which me to my next point…
Longevity: This is not a stain and wears off with food and drink. It also transfers onto my poor dog’s head. (She doesn’t mind.) This will most likely keep me from seeking out a shade that works better for me than Instigator….

UPDATE: 2/18/17. While I still think this is a decent product, I recently purchased the Bare Minerals Gen Nude liquid lipstick in Swag. I find that formula to be far superior to this one, and it is my favorite liquid formula. Review coming soon.
I received a Wildly Whipped lipstick in Devious Dolly for free from a mom I know that works for a cosmetics company. I will say up front that I am usually not a fan of matte lipsticks or liquid lipsticks. If you love liquid lipsticks and mattes, you will probably not like this product.
Wildly Whipped has a mousse-like texture and feels very lightweight as you apply. The applicator is a nice, beveled doe-foot. The angle makes it easy to apply. I have not noticed a chemical smell as another reviewer mentioned. It does dry on the lips quickly, but it does not dry down completely. It will never become super matte and smudge-proof like many other liquid lipsticks. The trade-off is that it is much, much, MUCH more comfortable than most other liquid lipsticks. Though it does not last all day, it will last several hours, maybe a tad longer than a regular lipstick, and as it fades it will do so fairly evenly, unlike many liquid lipsticks that sort of flake off and look patchy as the day goes on.
Devious Dolly is a dusty rose, neutral sort of color that will likely look nice on most complexions. For reference, I am NW10-15.
I don’t know that I would purchase this myself as I’m not very impressed with the color range, and as I already mentioned, liquids aren’t my preference. If the color range was improved, I would definitely consider it, though, because it is so comfortable.

I have this in Centerfold, which is a warm, orange toned nude. I like the slant tip applicator brush as it makes the lip product easy to apply. The color is itself is run of the mill, not a stand out nude color. The liquid lipstick does not have any staying power and dries out my lips.

I bought the color Devious Dolly. Would’ve been the perfect daytime lip color for my complexion (between NC35-NC42), that’s if it lasted. I would’ve given a lower star if it didn’t end up as an nice lip stain color when the color fades. I wouldn’t repurchase though. There are other better liquid lipsticks out there with better staying power.

I got this as a free deluxe sample with an Ulta purchase. The color is in Centerfold. The texture is light, wear is comfortable, color is natural, but the disappointment is taste is like chemical sunscreen. Yuck! Truly I read review and wondered if people could get past the horrible taste of this lipstick to praise the glory of this brand. If your going to spend this much on a high end product $21 retail then it should a least taste decent or not have a taste at all. Be careful as those with dry lips will need to exfoliate so that dry skin is not accentuated Thank God this was free. I think you can find better creme lipsticks out there for less..
