I have used this product (Glycolix exfoliating pads 20%) for about 10 years now and I absolutely love the results on my skin. I lived in Fl for 20 years and as a former sunbather, am now doing damage control (I should have listened to my mom when she said to use sunscreen!).
I use it on the backs of my hands, and my neck and chest area (not on my face, it’s too active) after showering, about four times a week (every day is too much). It does tingle a little after applying, but after a few minutes that dies down.
The results are astounding, the texture and tone of my skin was noticeably improved within a few weeks. My freckles and skin discolorations are greatly reduced, and my chest is smoother and has less bumps.
Even my husband commented on how lovely my skin looked. This is a holy grail product.

These are really easy to use and effective for quick exfoliation. I used them on both my face and body and saw great results. They are also easy to carry with you. I found the product a bit pricey and the jar design is not ideal but it works well. I did not enjoy the smell but it is light and goes away quickly.

I use these every other night. I cut the pads in half and find they last longer. Half a pad does the trick. The cost is more reasonable that way and they do help to keep my skin exfoliated and acne free. They sting initially for a few seconds but that means they are working. They also help to lighten my sun spots. I highly recommend these.

I credit this product with finally getting my acne completely under control. I have always had oily, acne prone skin and even into my 30s I was dealing with regular breakouts. Not any more! I use these every other night along with the gly/sal 10/2 cleanser in the shower. I have gone through several jars now and truly can’t remember the last time I had a breakout. My skin tone is more even as well which is just the icing on the cake!
These are rather strong so be aware. Sometimes they will irritate my upper lip area so I just avoid using them there until the irritation goes away. I also always use them at night. The solution does not sit well under makeup at all. The pads are soaked very well so one pad is more than enough to cover my face, neck, and the back of my hands. The price is also fantastic compared to other glycolic acid pads. These also come in lower concentrations but the 20% is all I have ever used.

GOOD product! Helps with acne and unclogs pores!

I know this would be too strong for my normal to dry, slightly sensitive facial skin, but it is fabulous for keeping my keratosis pilaris at bay. This combined with after shower applications of Glycolix AHA body lotion keeps thos horrid bumps away.

I love this product! It is very inexpensive and really delivers! I have been using it for about 2 years after switching from a beta peel. This is cheap, works great and is very easy to use. The pads are saturated with the glycolic. I wash my face, let dry and then swap this all over once a week. I rinse it off after about 10 minutes and apply cetaphil. My skin is SOOO soft and this helps with my clogged pores. Great, inexpensive product!!

Don’t get me wrong — this is a very decent product, just wrong for my skin. Unless you’ve been using strong glycolic acid products, I’d suggest trying the 10% or 15% version first. It runs about $23 for a jar of 60 pads. I figured that if it didn’t work on my face, I could use it on my arms (for keratosis pilaris). I was right — it’s way too harsh for my face. I thought I could tolerate it, since I don’t have sensitive skin, and I’ve used MaMa without problem…but the 20% glycolic acid was too much for me. I turned lobster red after swiping my face and had to run to the sink to rinse it off. But, I’ve been using strong retinoids, so my skin is a lot more sensitive and dryer than it would be otherwise. I do suspect that this would work wonderfully on hardier skin types. I haven’t yet tried using it on my arms (I’m too lazy to even use my Glytone lotion regularly, let alone treatment pads) but I’ll be sure to update if I see any results with my KP.
