Had to weigh in here since I am ‘former’ Seche Vite girl (dislike Out the Door for it’s finish) and would only use that on top of my polish. (not a fan of gel either) Love this product – no bubbles, just smooth, glassy shine that really does dry instantly. Why would anyone pay almost triple for SV when you can get similar results with this SH product!!!

Dries basically instantly. Very shiny and nice. But doesn’t last at all. Peeled off the very first night.

My go to dry fast is Out the Door. I had to use Sally Hansen and was dissapointed with the results. My nails ended up drying with small little air bubbles. Why does this happen? It really made me upset. Waste of money. Do not buy. Best bet buy Out The Door you can find it at Target.

I ran out of the usual Revlon top coat is used and decided to pick up Dries Instantly top coat on a whim. It becomes a big gloopy blob after awhile so I used up only 3/4 of the bottle. However for the price it does do the trick if you do not have anything else it does a semi-decent job. It is not a fast dry just for your information so do not expect that.

This is a great quick-drying topcoat to use in-between nail polish sessions. It dries within minutes and I don’t have anything bad to say about the brush or consistency of the product. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend this as a final topcoat to freshly-painted nails. I find that it doesn’t protect as well as some other topcoats. My nails usually chip within 1 or 2 days. I like this much more for maintaining my nails throughout the week since it dries so fast.

like many people i couldn’t decide between seche vite, essie good to go, OPI and many of the other popular brands. After a few days of searching i came across sally hansens dries instantly on amazon. Compared to other well-known top coats this one was kind of a risk in my opinion. On all the sites i visited there were not many reviews and i was a bit undecided if i should purchase it or not. Eventually i just decided to go for it, and im glad that i did. This top coat really does dry almost instantly. i like to wait for at least 5 minutes just to be sure and then i go about my day. it leaves a very glossy finish and gives my more matte polish that extra “umph” they need to really stand out. The best thing though is that my polish stays on for about 4-5 days without chipping. On my toes it lasts about 2-3 weeks, which is not a surprise since my feet are not going through all the abuses my hands do (washing, cooking, etc). This timing works perfectly since i usually change colors at the end of the week. I am so glad i choose this polish and i couldnt be happier with the results.

I originally ran out of my out the door to coat and the store only carried sally Hansen nail polish. I quickly googled the reviewed for this and it seemed good enough.
Dries quickly all set by 10 seconds however no matter which nail polish I use underneath the whole color chips off by the next day and I’m not exaggerating. Buy this only if you plan on wearing the nail polish color for one day because it will not last by the second day. Hate this!

Of all the top coats I own, this is in my top two. I have been doing nail designs lately and I needed a top coat that dried my base coat quickly. I have an issue with one of my nails constantly losing the entire “sheet” of polish one day into a manicure, and Seche Vite only made that worse. While this doesn’t dry exactly in 30 seconds as it claims, half of my first hand was dry by the time I had finished the second hand. I do my nails 3-4 times a week so I can’t speak on longevity, but it does stand up to weightlifting, dishes, cooking, typing and my everyday activities.
For the price I got it, I couldn’t be happier. My only comment is that I probably didn’t need the outer packaging it came in, but I would guess SH does that because they have so many different top coats and people want to compare them.

This stuff really does dry very fast (about six minutes), but it had better be over dry polish, as it will not dry the polish underneath. It also chipped quickly on me.

I bought this from the recommendations on here. It’s ‘ok’. When I first put this on, on very very dry nails, it made my nails goopy, like it re-wet the bottom layer and I had to be very careful not to mess up my manicure. It also didn’t dry ‘instantly’. It took a good few minutes. I didn’t even want to risk testing it after it already dinged up my nails so I just waited a normal time. The formula is also odd, thick yet runny. You can’t put too little or too much because it will seriously mess up your nails. Too little and it’s thick and streaky looking and too much and it pools (as if it was running) and actually wore away the color underneath!! So strange. It also seemed to be a bit streaky on application, like I could see the brush indentations as it was drying and my polish was so smooth before using this. Then when it dries, if you get ANY on your skin it will be like glue and pull on you when you move your fingers and it hurts!! If you swipe it away with another nail as it’s drying, it pulls the polish and distorts it. So at this point I hated it. Some gals on the nail board said that I might have put it on wrong, and that you have to put quick dry top coats on wet nails. So I can’t fully say it sucks if I did it wrong. That feels almost wrong for me to do, but I will try it next time. Aside from that, it’s been a day and so far I haven’t really had chipping which is great and almost impossible. I made jewlery today and a few other things that would ruin most manicures, so I’m impressed there. But I’m also using a new base coat and polish so I don’t know what product gets the credit. If I figure it out, I will update. But because of all the problems, I feel like just getting Seche Vite because it seems to be tried and true and I don’t want to play this gambling game anymore. 🙁
Update: I did buy Seche Vite and since then I’ve also tried this again. I have to up my review from a 2 to a 4 becuase it has gotten better. First of all, don’t get this on your skin. It will harden and hurt so you just have to be good at polishing. I think Seche does this as well since they are both very thick and strong. I did try this over wet nails and since I had two colors (one was dry one wasn’t) it streaked it onto the dry color, so that was a big NO. I stuck to using it on dry nails and since then I have been impressed. I guess I use this on not-as-good-manicures that I don’t want to use my Seche on. I’ve also noticed the Seche getting thicker already and I just got it. So I bought Seche Restore, but this doesn’t need it yet which is a plus. The thinness of it makes it a little easier to apply, once you get use to it and don’t let it pool which can create that hard layer stuck to your cuticle. Also, once you know to wait a bit and let this dry, it does creat a nice shine and strong layer and does dry fast. At least faster than polish does. I think the polish underneath and what you do really changes the chip time for any top coat/manicure. I think Seche might be slightly shinier but I got both for a good price (maybe around $6-$6.50) So I guess it just has a small learning curve and now I got it. I’m glad I didn’t give up!
