All the products from this Chia Seed Hydrating Line have a wonderful refreshing & light scent that makes me think of sweet spring foliage.
I liked how lightweight this was, especially during summer. This emulsion actually helped keep my skin hydrated & balanced in the summer without feeling heavy, thick, or greasy. With dry/dehydrated skin (and oilier T-zone during summers), I’m not able to wear this alone as a final moisturizer, but works well under my summertime gel creams that sometimes aren’t as moisturizing on their own. Out of all the products in this Chia Seed line, I liked this one the most.
All in all, the products from this line are good, solid, basic products for normal/combination skin. I don’t have anything to complain about it, it does its job. However, I’m on the fence about purchasing full-sized products at this exact moment since my late-30s skin needs a bit more power than basic care. If it’s on sale and I am in need of a summer emulsion and don’t want to try something new, I might pick it up. I would put this emulsion on the same level as some of the ones from Laneige, but at a much cheaper price.
