This is the worst toner I have ever used. It claims to make pores look smaller and control sebum,but the only thing it does it dehydrate your skin. I used it as directed,without and cotton ball or pad and ,at first, it did seem to improve my skin texture. My pores looked like they shrunk a bit and my skin looked smoother,but a week later my skin started to look dry and dehydrated even though my t zone and nose were even oilier than before. When I tried it with the classical method using a cotton pad, to try to apply less product on face, it broke me out. It smells strongly like alcohol and my skin felt very tight after . Would not recommend.

For a long time Ive tried toner after toner and none of them have impressed me until now! I have oily/combo skin that can be sensitive. I have pores the size of meteors. This toner is amazing!!!!!! It actually SHRINKS my pores, no other product has been able to do that for me. Ive also seen a reduction in redness and acne breakouts (im very prone to breaking out in cystic acne). It has also controlled my oil significantly, instead of becoming oily an hour after my skin care routine, its become maybe 7 hours. Im on my second bottle of this miracle. I always use it with the mask from the same line, and I find it really helps to reduce rednesa and erradicates blackheads. Also: this can be drying, so always moisturize after! I love pairing my Clinique dramatically different gel with this. Cheers!

I love this toner! This keeps me from blotting my forehead and nose every hour. This is the only toner that does this for me, which is great. They do recommend that you use the whole Rare Earth line for everything to work cohesively.
You have to make sure to pat it gently onto your face. It will sting if you swipe it on your face. I also don’t feel that it cleans as a toner, but I am also using two other toners from my dermatologist, so I don’t feel like it’s necessary.
It is quite pricey, if anything, price is the biggest deterrent for me, but if it works, I will spend money on it.

This has alcohol listed as the second ingredient, stay away! I found when I used it, it made me OILIER, which is what I was trying to CONTROL with this product.

I adore this! It keeps my skin matte for quite a while and believe me, I can send signals into space with my forehead, that`s how oily and shiny my skin gets in summer. What it doesn`t do is make my skin dry. I`ve noticed my pores have shrunk significantly, but not sure whether this is because of the other products I`ve been using. In any case, this has become my summer toner and it`s the second year in a row I`m using it.

I love kiehls and use many many of their products for years i own the amazonian clay mask which i like so i decded to try this. Nope it broke me out so bad 🙁 i returned it and stick with the blue herbal line

I’m on my 2nd bottle of this toner and I really like it! I haven’t used many pore minimizing products. However if there is a job to be done this toner does it for me!

the title encourages you think about the Amazon….you get a moment away to an exotic land thinking about Amazonians in thongs with spears.

CONS
guilt- the amount of carbon credits to shift all of the amazonian clay to the factory- and what about the amazonians?? what clay will they use to make their pots and houses?
no real effect on my enlarged pores or my shine- my pores and shine are very stubborn (and yes I used the matching cleanser and masque).
its lasts and lasts and lasts which is a real drag.
I wished I had know about the Kiehls refund policy. This would have gone back.

I used up a whole bottle of this. It was a gift, along with the Rare Earth Moisturizer, I wouldn’t have bought it myself because I don’t believe any toner and/or moisturizer can actually minimize pores. What it does though is help mattify my very oily t-zone before makeup or moisturizer. I only use it when I feel I need extra help in that area. I’m thinking of buying it myself because I’m almost out, and it’s a nice extra step in my routine, but not a necessary one.
