i live my lifr for tinted lip balm and lip gloss and lip oil. I have tried a lot of japanese lip gloss as that what japan famous for. However, the japanese lip gloss only gives a temporary moisture while i need it lasts all day. And then i find this. This is totally a life saver. I bought the pink one and the color is natural and cute, which is my forever makeup goal.

I have shade Pale Princess which looks lemon yellow in the tube.
However this is one of those PH shade adjusting formulas.
Adjusted shade is advertised as pink and yep, just as is usual for me with a ph lip product, it is bright fuchsia pink.
personally, i think this will be a nice lip to wear with just bronzer on the eyes and cheeks for a fast summer look with a pop of colour.
the formula is not watery and not greasy and not sticky.
it is comfortable to wear.
it is not long lasting at all which is fine as i am not expecting that for an oil.
but after it wears off i swear my lips are feeling soft! i need to wear it more to be sure but so far im happy about that.
the applicator is a wide paddle that is similar to clarins lip oil-gloss hybrid product which i like for the clarins and also like for this mac product. it is shaped nicely to hug the lips and to evenly apply the oil.
i dont know about the other shades but this shade is too bright for me to apply without a mirror.
it is too obvious if i go outside of the lip line and applying too thick of a coat creates seepage into the lines in my upper lip.
but if i use a mirror, be decently precise and do not over-apply, i do like this product quite a bit.
i just wish that i didnt have to be careful with it at all.. i just want to slap it on while on the run, you know?
also, after just one application, the paddle has turned fuchsia.
you can see in the pic that some of the oil in the tube has also turned fuchsia from re-inserting the applicator.
i wont be surprised when this entire tube of oil is fuchsia pink instead of yellow after repeated use.
update: when the oil wears off, it leaves behind a stain. this is nice if you top it with balm. but if you add more oil to the lips, the colour builds and gets even brighter and even more fuchsia. like i said, fuchsia lips have their place but i cant wear this oil on an every day basis due to the shade. two of the other shades in the line are a form of bright pink as well. i wish they had more variety to choose from.
