This is a lovely toner that hydrates and softens the skin, removes any traces of makeup left, and re balances the pH of skin. I only wish there was no fragrance included, as it is not necessary. Otherwise this is a really good toner for all skin types.

I love this toner. It is one of the best I have tried. It is gentle yet it tones and cleanses the skin very well. It does not cause a stripped or tight feeling after use. Since using I have noticed a reduction in breakouts and clogged pores. I also notice my combination skin is more balanced. I use it morning and night.

As far as I can tell, this is no miracle product. But it does it’s job! Be careful around eyes, you can kind of smell/feel the alcohol. Fresh feeling. Removes makeup residue well. Soothing, cooling.
I don’t use it everyday as it’s micro-exfoliating and my skin is dry, sensitive, acne prone. It never irritates me and I havent reacted to it though.
I find it lasts pretty long, especially if you don’t use it everyday (I think recommended is 2-3 times a week?) I still have my little bumps, (dont know what their deal is, might just be plain old hormones) I think I’m gonna go for something natural next, rosewater/apple vinegar and water, that kind of stuff.

This is my cold weather counterpart to LRP’s Effaclar toner, which I use in the muggiest days of summer. In winter, with bitter Canadian weather and indoor heating, Soothing Toner (mine doesn’t have “Physiological” in the name but it is in the small print) is a nice and gentle product to use to complete my cleansing routine, especially if I’m using a creamier cleanser or balm and want to make sure to get any traces of residue left behind. Simple, practical packaging and a nice, non-irritating, non-drying product to use. It’s also considerably less costly than the gentle toners from Clarins (which I also like but the price is much steeper).

Like most reviewers on here, I was very “meh” about this product when I first started using it. I never really got the point of toners anyway, but got talked into buying this in the pharmacy – and I’m super glad I did.
When I first used it, it didn’t seem to have any effect on my skin at all. I have pretty dry skin, and this neither irritated it, nor did it seem to significantly improve my skin. So I stopped using it for a while.
However, a few days ago my skin became super dry and scaly around my nose and mouth area – flakes peeling off, the whole deal. And if you have eczema, you might know how that feels – your skin is tight and dry, you keep piling on more and more creams, moisturizers, and oils, but nothing seems to help and you skin just gets redder and irritated. Well, then I decided to give this toner a try underneath my oils – and it felt AMAZING. Like my skin had a big sip of water. I think its just the water content and the glycerin, but it worked.
So, in short – I would TOTALLY recommend this toner if you have irritated, dry and – most importantly – dehydrated skin. Then, this toner totally works.
However, I do suspect you could just get something cheaper with glycerin/hylauronic acid/honey and water to work as your humectant. If your skin is not dehydrated – I’d say skip it, it probably won’t do much for you. But for me, it was a life-saver (and my “scales” are gone 😀 )

I use this toner mainly because it’s alcohol free and I have dry skin so I find my skin is really dry without it. This toner is ok, makes my skin less dry and cleans off any leftover residue after cleansing, but it doesn’t particularly do anything specific. It feels like cleansing water, i.e. doesn’t exactly hydrate dry skin but at the same doesn’t to do anything else. I thought I would try it out, but I’d rather try another toner than buy this again.

This product is alright. I will use it up and I don’t mind it but I also don’t find it’s particularly wonderful. My skin is sensitive and likes a simple routine, most of my products that I use on my skin at the moment are French pharmacy cosmetics. It smells pleasant and feels gentle but it doesn’t seem to have much of an effect on my skin, so that’s why I won’t be repurchasing.

My cousin gave me this product… And I’m glad I didn’t pay for that !
I used to have the Neutrogena Oil Free Toner and I never had problem with it. The La Roche Posay didn’t do well on my sensitive skin, making it more red and itchy.
I don’t understand why… the ingredients look nice though (That’s why I gave it 2/5 stars).
Glad it worked for other people, but if you have sensitive skin and you are looking for a great toner, don’t waste your money by taking a chance with this one

love this toner a life saver when i was on accutane and after! During accutane i didn’t even need to use moisturizer just used this it is a miracle worker! I use this every night and especially when my skin gets over dried from acne medication! i would recommend this to anyone who has dry/combination skin! just plain amazing!

Simple packaging, liquid formulation, smells bit of medicine but nothing extreme. For reference: I have combination skin with no major problems, some occasional pimples and minor blackheads.
Not sure if this product provides a soothing effect as I do not really need it normally. For me a toner is a step that can be skipped. Yet when using this toner my skin looks bit brighter and fresher. I am repurchasing the toner now and then.
