I can’t use this product currently but when my skin was oily this was my go to!

This is a real ‘meh’ product. It doesn’t break me out or strip my skin, which is a bonus, but it doesn’t really DO anything positive for my skin either. And it’s a nightmare to get out of the tube when you’re nearing the end of the product. I had a sample tube, but am really glad not to have been stuck with a full size of this. I’m really having to force myself to use the amount I have!

I’m pretty baffled about this face mask… I’ve used it continuously over around 3 months and I really can’t tell if it has done anything spectacular, or anything minimal if I’m being honest. The texture is pretty thick and requires slight effort to spread equally across my face; the ‘scent’ is pretty medicinal, but isn’t off-putting / strong, and the ‘scent’ does linger on my face once washed off. Once it is washed off, my skin doesn’t feel tight but I generally do notice that I have dryness on my skin – but what is weird is that my skin doesn’t feel ‘cleaned’ compared to if I had used Origins charcoal mask, so the dryness isn’t baring through. I’ve noticed that this mask does leave a slight white cast once washed off which leads to the appearance of redness being reduced, but it’s just a facade. I can’t say if it reduces pore size because my pores are already very tight and almost invisible. I’m not sure if this mask clears acne whatsoever, I’m pretty sure the medicinal scent and it having sulphur tricks my brain into thinking it does something, but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t. I’ve let my mother and sister use it, and I saw a difference, but the difference only lasted until they washed their face at night… I’m really confused about this mask!

After using this mask every week for a month I see no difference in my skin. It’s nice that it’s hydrating and doesn’t make your skin dehydrated but it also doesn’t change my acne. I will not re-purchase.

Another acne treatment that didn’t work for me. I’m 43 now and have had acne for 30 years. Murad was recommended to me by an acquaintance when I told her about my acne. I don’t have cystic acne, just your garden variety pinkish red pimples. My skin is somewhat sensitive with mild rosacea.
There was no discernible difference to my skin after use. There’s no fragrance. It didn’t harm my skin. This 4% sulfur acne treatment was useless.

I used to use the DDF sulfur mask – it was HG for me, helped reduce huge pimples when I used as an overnight spot treatment, but I can’t find it anymore, I think it’s been discontinued. So I bought this Murad clarifying clay mask instead to replace my beloved DDF sulfur mask.
I do prefer Murad’s packaging – my problem with DDF’s mask is that it was in a jar and even if I closed it super tight, the clay would dry up before I could finish the jar. Murad’s packaging makes so much more sense! No drying up, so easy to dispense!
But Murad’s formula only has 4% Sulfur whereas DDF’s had 10%. I definitely don’t feel that Murad’s mask is doing as much as DDF’s. It also has much less of a sulfur smell (but you do smell a hint of rotten eggs, especially when washing it off). This mask is ok – but I won’t repurchase, I will keep looking for another 10% sulfur mask.

Loaded with parabens. I started breaking out after 2 facial treatments.

This stuff is a miracle in a bottle! I had been experiencing mild breakouts on my forehead and chin after going off birth control and could not get rid of them for months. As soon as one breakout cleared up another would pop up. After doing some research I decided to give this mask a try and I’m so glad I did! Personally, I don’t use it as a full face mask because my skin tends to dry out easily so I use it as a spot treatment on my problem areas. After the first use the irritation and redness reduced by at least 50% and after using it approx. 4 times my breakouts completely cleared up – I seriously could not believe it. Overall my problem areas feel immensely less congested and it has evened out my discolouration in those areas as well. For me the scent really wasn’t that bad but again I just use it as a spot treatment so if you do use it on your entire face it may be bothersome if you dislike fragrance. Overall I totally recommend it and while it is a little pricy you get a lot of product and it works like a charm so its definitely worth the splurge!

This is indeed a good mask, not a miracle product for me but it really does help with my acne. This is one of those products where I saw results fairly quickly. Only complaint is that after a while this mask starts to separate and when I try to squeeze it out, a lot of runny liquid comes out
