I bought a single “pod” of this mask at Target ($4.00) for my own little spa day. This mask is meant to be for a single usage, but I routinely get three uses out of a single pod. The product is creamy and contains jojoba beads and lactic acid. I usually leave it on 20 – 30 minutes. When it comes time to remove, I add a little water and gently massage for a little added exfoliation before rinsing away. It definitely leaves my skin softer but I can’t say I’ve seen any brightening effects. The packaging is nice if you are going on a trip and don’t want to bring a larger product with you. I use a small Tupperware container that I store an opened pod between uses. This is a nice product for the price, but definitely not as effective as my new Biossance Squalane & Glycolic Renewal Facial.
