I bought this palette a couple of years back in 784 Late Night Latte and it caught my eye because of the middle shade is a mauve-lilac frost shade. To make a look is difficult as all 3 shades blend out to look like one shade. The top shade is very pigmented, and is the only reason I’m keeping this trio. The shadows are patchy and even applied wet produce alot of fallout. you have to really scratch at it to get pigmentation. It was a fun trio to try but I’m not going to repurchase it. I do like the packaging as it is sturdy and the hinge lid is tight. the edges are beveled too so that’s cool. but I do not recommend buying it as you could find shades similar elsewhere.

Have strong negative feelings for this product. But…these eyeshadows didn’t work for me, and I don’t really see how anybody could make them work. I grabbed the shades Central Park Plums because the champagne, taupe, and dark violet all looked so appealing but alas, I was deceived! They were all super hard and stiff. Even swatching on my arm, it would barely come off on my finger. Wouldn’t even go onto the eyelid with a brush. With a finger? A hint of color but patchy and sad. Fallout was aplenty. Basically stiff bricks of tinted baby powder.

It’s an alright palette. It’s a little chalky but that’s kind of what you pay for from the cheap price.

bought this product on a whim. doesn’t have the greatest pigmentation, unless you are to wet your brush before applying. it’s also very hard to pick up product with your brush, so all in all I would recommend you go for another cheap drugstore eye shadow palette like wet and wild

I bought this because CVS was having a sale. I got the “Late Night Latte” and I can honestly say I want my 2 dollars back. I rubbed my fingers in all 3 shades to test out the payoff when I first bought it and wasn’t impressed. I actually tried to wear it on my eyes about 2 weeks later and the only color I could even get to show up was the brown shade. The palest highlight shade just basically added very subtle shimmer and absolutely no color. But the purple shade was the real doozy. I literally swiped my brush in that sucker about 25 times and absolutely NO COLOR showed up at all. I could not get that color to show up on me at all. These eyeshadows were a total waste of time and money. I ended up throwing it away and I’ll probably never buy another NYC eyeshadow again.

Useless product. Only paid $4, but it was still a waste of money. I bought Long Beach Sands, and it’s barely pigmented. It disappears really quickly, and then just looks like your eyelids are a little sparkly. Would not purchase any NYC eye shadows again.

I bought the trio in Skyrise Steel (a charcoal, an ivory, and a silver). The colors are very pretty in the pan, but not so great overall. The ivory is a nice highlight color. The charcoal isn’t very pigmented and I was very disappointed with it; however, it’s a good subtle dark crease color that can be added in with black for depth. The silver was the worst: I used it as a n all over lid color on top of Nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk (the eyeshadow not at all pigmented without a base). It looked okay thanks to the base, but after a few hours, the shadow started to fade away and spread down into my liner. By the end of the day, most of the silver shadow had disappeared.
Very disappointed with this product- but I suppose you get what you pay for in this instance.

I bought the trio in Central Park Plums. The highlighter is a shimmery pink-white shade which looked nice above my brow bone and the inner corner of the eyes. The brown bone shade is a taupe color that pulls more gray on my skintone. The lid shade looks like a cranberry shade in the compact, but looked brown on my lids. All three shades were very hard to blend, did not have much pigmentation, and definitely have to be applied on top of a base. It also had very little staying power. I was very disappointed, but luckily I only paid $3.99 for it since it was on sale at CVS. I will not buy this again, but will keep this on hand for days when I want a light wash on my lids.

NYC HD Eyeshadow ” Blues Cafe” & “Bronzed in Brooklyn” – I bought these products dirt cheap! I Iike the colors; Bronzed in Brooklyn gives a really good neutral look. Blues Cafe has really great blues for a smokey/dramatic look. Using this alone wouldn’t work for my oily lids but layering over a gel eyeshadow gives NYC shadows staying power! The powder blends really well and the pigment is great.
