Black Orchid is a very deep maroon with red, gold & iridescent sparkles and shows up dark plum with iridescent sparkle in the bottle. In some light it shows up black and in others, dark maroon.
Wear time over Stickey base coat and with Fast & Hard topcoat from Vibrant Vinyls [indie polish maker] is pretty decent. I’m not too hard on my hands and haven’t seen any chipping or much tip wear.
I’m VERY pale and this might be a bit too dark for my skin tone. I do like it a lot, so maybe it’ll take a bit of getting used to. What I really like is seeing the different shades and colors showing up under different lights which is one reason I like indie polishes like ILNP.
I said “no” for a rebuy but I’d rather have it as “maybe” because this is a good winter time polish.
