I received this product in a pack of 4 BareMinerals products, and I’ve used it 1 – 2 x a week over the past 6 weeks.
I’m not blown away by this product. Each time I have used it, I have perceived a negligible improvement in my skin. It has given the best result on my neck and chest, probably as I don’t usually use masks there.
The mask is fairly thick and very dark khaki green. I experimented using different amounts of coverage but I find it doesn’t dry completely anyway so putting heaps on seems like a bit of a waste. THe directions say to leave it on for 10 -15 mins, that’s what I’ve been doing, then rinse it off.
Let me warn you, this stuff is MESSY. It takes a lot of water to rinse it off and the dark colour makes splash marks everywhere. It says to use a dark coloured towel to dry your face after – that should give you a clue how messy it is! Once I got it off my face I had to clean the basin too.
I won’t buy this again, it didn’t deliver results for me and the mess isn’t worth it.

This is a nicely formulated, smooth clay mask that doesn’t dry too aggressively to have lines of your face after. I love the formula, only thing is that I don’t see if working as well as i wish. Its super smooth with no gritty parts, washes off evenly and easily. The drawing qualities are very mild and no smoothing effects. I prefer Aesop’s primrose mask and the LRP Effaclar. Its good if you are very sensitive or just want something gentle. I would not repurchase since I’m after products that make a visible difference. Buy with a code, if you are curious.
