This cream has been fantastic for my dehydrated, highly reactive skin. It calms down irritation, redness and little bumps better than my prescription rosacea treatment! Very lightweight texture that absorbs instantly yet I don’t have dry patches or feel the need to top it with an occlusive at night at all. The scent is inoffensive and the slight green tint helps to tone down redness too. Overall I have been very impressed with this cream and if it continues to work so wonderfully for me, then I will definitely repurchase!
UPDATE: after 2 weeks more use, I started breaking out very badly and had to discontinue use unfortunately.

This was far too harsh for my sensitive skin. Gave me redness in places where I’d never have redness before (i.e. my chin and my jaw). My face was burning, itching, and resembled a tomato for 2 days after trying this. Probably just an allergic reaction but thought I’d let people know anyway. If you have sensitive skin, do a patch test beforehand – like I should have done.

I hate having red cheeks and nose and I saw this in Boots. I asked the lady if she had any samples but she didn’t which made me a little nervous about shelling out 18 quid for another cream which didn’t work or (even worse) make my skin even unhappier. She assured me that I would like it and I took the jump. One week on and hardly any red on my cheeks and nose. Noticed that thread veins were less visable – it wasn’t just the green tinge to the cream either! Cream smelt a little medicinal but couldn’t smell it after makeup was on (I had a choice now whether I wore any!). I stopped using the cream for a week and the red sore patches came back – returned to using the cream and it cleared up again a week later. OK, so it’s not a proper scientific experiment, but it works for me….so much so that I got the psoriasis cream for my husband and he loves that cream! He has one in the car in case he needs to pop some on at work. Two happy customers who are no longer red in the face about being, erm, red in the face!

I’m reviewing the Dermalex repair cream for the relief of contact eczema. I was skeptical when I bought this product. I have eczema on my hand and the cortisone cream i’ve been using had pretty much thinned out and tore the skin off my fingers to the extent that they bled. Washing my hands just worsened my symptoms. This cream is a bit pricey but i thought what the heck..might as well give it a try and surprise surprise it actually works. This is not a gimmicky product. Although the directions say to apply it 2-3 times a day, I religiously apply it each time I wash my hands and before bed time. Now weeks later, my eczema is sooo much better. i think this cream creates some kind of protective barrier on your skin. Sure I get occasional flare ups, but not the painful kind. I’ve also stopped using the cortisone cream as often. I’ll definitely buy again once I run out. I see there’s also a Dermalex cream for psoriasis. I’m going to buy that one soon for my mom. I’ve taken off one lippie because of the price.

I don’t usually review products but Dermalex has been a miracle product for my red flushed cheeks. I react to exercise, wine, heat, etc with a red flushing that lasts hours. I haven’t really been diagnosed with Rosacea but I suspect it is (no bumps or anything though). I started using Dermalex in the morning and at night as a moisturiser and my flushing has pretty much reduced to nothing. I still get red after certain activities but it hardly lasts long at all! I’ve also noticed a reduction in the tiny little spider veins I was starting to see on my face. The product is a green tinted cream that goes on easily, works well under makeup and sunscreen and doesn’t have a fragrance. I usually cleanse with a sensitive skin cleanser, apply dermalex followed by my sunscreen and makeup.
Its great for my sensitive skin, I don’t have any bad reactions to it and I will never stop using Dermalex! It can be a bit pricey but it’s really worth it. This is a miracle product.

I came across this product in our local chemist. It was £18.99, which is quite a hefty sum, but I thought I’d give it a go as my cheeks are permanently red thanks to ‘nature’s blusher’, aka Rosacea. I have been using this product for approx one month now, and it has definitely faded the redness, not completely, but significantly improved it.
The tube contains 30g of a green emollient, which is very easily absorbed into the skin. It smells fine, I can’t really describe the smell, it’s sort of like a very watered down Sudocream like scent (in my opinion anyway! I could be way off).
So yes, quite pleased with this stuff. I have cut & pasted the details from the Boots website below.
