I have been using the their nail polish remover for yrs now, and love it, and stumbled across this shadow on Amazon.. So far I love it, I have the Sultry Trio – dark gray/light gray/white, use all daily, mostly the white.. pretty long lasting. I do have my eye on a organic duo, dif brand $7 less, so may try that when I run out…then will see which I like better to re-buy.
~ Update – Have had this over a month and love it!

I have a new store close to my home called fresh thyme all natural organic store it sells this brand I have not purchased yet tested a sample on my skin feels and looks great but $23.00 for a package of very small eye shadow swatches Really come on now
I love mineral and natural products but the price steers me away.

WHY DONT PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THESE MORE?? They blend like heaven and the pigmentation is great… and they’re seriously not bad for your skin like other makeup it’s wonderful. They’re like high end I swear

These trios come in a little compact in the style of the Smashbox trios. The lids are see through so its easy to grab in the morning. Espresso Gold has a shimmery sparkling gold lid color, a peachy pale tan matte highlight, and a cool matte dark brown. The gold is very shimmery which I find pretty for night but a bit much for the day. The dark brown I prefer it as a liner rather than a shadow as its a little hard to blend. Also it does give alot of fallout, so I find its best to do my eyes first before foundation, or hold a small cloth under my eye to catch the fallout.

I’ve been in the process of replacing all of my cosmetics with natural products, and I came across Mineral Fusion. I bought the Sultry eyeshadow trio and I LOVE it. The colors are great nude, neutral shades, and the pigmentation is great. I use this every day. I even bought a backup because they were on sale at Whole Foods. I might try other trios, but I think this is the best shade for my complexion (fair, blond, hazel eyes).

I was looking for subtle but shimmery lid colors and darker colors other than black to use as eyeliner. I had previously used Mac Intoxicate as liner, and I wanted to find a natural brand mineral replacement. I bought the Mineral Fusion Trio palette in 3 combinations:
Density: The darkest shade is a lovely eggplant, and while it seems a touch less brown than Mac Intoxicate, it’s so subtle that they look the same – and this is truly just as lovely, if not more! I had though I might need to mix it with a dark brown, but I don’t – it is deep enough that it doesn’t scream purple. The shimmery shade looks like a dark taupe color, and when swatched it is like a deep, dusky shimmery rose with a hint of copper. The lightest color is a pale nude.
Espresso Gold: The darkest color is very similar to the darkest color in Rose Gold, but I would say this is like a very dark brown with just a tiny touch of smokey grey. The gold isn’t very yellowy or loud, it is a paler gold, actually maybe a hint of champagne. The lightest color is a pale tan.
Rose Gold: The darkest color is a very dark brown – though very similar to the darkest shade in Espresso Gold, this one is a more pure brown. The shimmery color swatches as a pale pink that is a bit peachy. The lightest color is a pale pink.
All in all, I love these – the colors glide on and look very sophisticated. My favorite is Density, and if I could only have one, it would be that one. I am trying to play more with eye shadow, though, so I thought these three would be a nice way to start for a few natural looks.

I bought this in stunning sensationel, (a medium and dark copper, with a vanilla highlight) and if you have blue eyes, the copper shades are really gorgeous. I love this brand because of the ingredients (no chemical fillers, artificial ingredients, parabens, phthalates and the like). They are very pigment rich…a little goes a long way. Last all day and no creasing for me, I don’t have oily eyelids.
The only critique I have is that it did flake a little in the container. However, it wouldn’t prevent me from buying it again.

Tried in seduction. Includes a pink, green and brown color. Didn’t last long and wasn’t impressed with the colors

I received this as a gift in the Sex, Lux, Pax trio in color Du Cap. It contains three shimmery colors of off-white, pink and lilac. I dislike everything about this eye shadow. First of all, it is cheaply made for the high price tag. Think Wet & Wild quality cheap. The eye shadows are barely pigmented, chalky and there is a lot of fall out. I think I got more eye shadow falling into my eye than actually on my eye lid. And it creases immediately. Also contains paraben preservatives. Really crummy product.

Pretty to look at, good color combination, suitable size for traveling, decent application if you primed your eyes properly beforehand. For the price it’s not worth it. I can find better quality eye shadows with the same price or even cheaper. A good thing mine was a present.

I have Topaz Delux (brown, pearl beige, and white pearl). The colors look great and will not crease. These colors make my brown eyes look pretty. But, yes, they broke as I traveled with it. Now all three colors got mixed in the pot and cannot be used. $30 is quite a bit expensive if I can’t use it until the end.

I like the colors, mine has a cream color, copper and cocoa brown. I thought they wore well, no creasing.

I liked my eye shadow trio until I dropped it, and the shadow crumbled to dust… I had purchased Sex, Lux, Pax shadow trio in Soul, and I love the colors – (true gold, copper, and light pinky/golden beige). I really should have known better than to purchase this product, I had bought an eye shadow trio a few years ago in different colors, with the same result (an easily broken eye shadow that delivers a big disappointment). But I guess I was dazzled by the pretty colors, and forgot about my past unfortunate purchase.
I will never re-purchase now that I’ve learned my lesson — the shadow trio is way too expensive ($30.00) to have the product crumble and mix all three colors together one month after the initial purchase. I don’t recommend this product. I’m giving this product two lippies only because I liked the colors so much.

I bought Sun, Moon, Stars Trio in Stella Untold from Sephora.com. The description said it was melon, mauve pink, and glittery brown. The brown was great. I have blue-green eyes and the dark brown with a hint of gold-bronze gleam(not glitter) was awesome as a liner(I prefer brown because it looks more natural than black). The melon was exactly that. It had no shimmer in it whatsoever. I could barely see it and wasn’t flattering. The “mauve pink” was just a sheer lilac with a slight, I mean slight, shimmer. Not really my style. This went back to Sephora. I absolutely loved the brown, but $30 is too much for one eyeshadow. The sun, moon, and stars designs are cute, but not really functional, if you use a liner brush you have to work around them. Also, the colors are not divided into different little pots, which would make it difficult when they get worn down. If anyone has a suggestion for a replacement to this brown, PLEASE let me know.

I have been using these trio eye colors for about five years now, and I love them. The pigment is rich and long lasting. It applies easily (I use eco tool brushes) and they blend super well! My favorite pallet is “Stunning” a shimmery cream, a terra cotta and a darker coppery pinkish brown. My second fave is “Density” (not misspelling destiny, it is density). It has a matte pale pink, a shimmery brownish pink and a matte dusky plum. Love that it has nothing funky in the ingredients and it is made in the USA.

Love these little trios! Nice color combos and great texture, no chemicals that immediately raise an eyebrow. However, two things; costly for a market brand and a bit too nightclub for a day at the park or a trip to the market. I’m a mom and I do not go full-on kardashian to play dates. Having the option for a shadow similar in colors to the Sultry palette but less shiny would be excellent.

I have the trios Espresso Gold and Sultry. The first one has a matte peachy color, a dark brown that i use for lining, and a super shimmery copper. The second a shiny silver brown, a charcoal, and a light cream. i was attracted to the extracts/antioxidants:) maybe a little too shimmery. i think theyre good staples, a lil pricey

No staying power. No pigment. Returned back to Sephora.

Highly pigmented, great eyeshadow! I have the trio in sundance (gold, bronze, and dark brown) and I love the way all the colors blend so well. The eyeshadow is very smooth so making the colors blend together is not hard at all.

These suck. B/c of these I have never bought another VL product again. I bought the Soul Trio years ago, maybe 4? (I’m just getting around to reviewing it now b/c I didn’t join MUA until 6 mos ago). The colors are pretty (true yellow-gold, golden-bronze, and a pinky-gold) and have decent pigmentation. But they broke on me right away. I didn’t drop it or anything. I was so mad, I thought I got a defective product, so I returned it. No dice — it broke again. I just kept it instead of returning it since I knew it wasn’t the store’s fault — I just blamed the crappy quality of VL instead. And then my best friend, who had purchased a Trio independently of me, confirmed it: hers broke too. We commiserated and agreed: NO MORE VL PRODUCTS FOR US.
