It is fitting that the # of this shadow is 365 because, in all honesty, I could probably use this eyeshadow every day of the year! A very long time ago, MAC had a shadow in its Starflash collection called Grand Entrance. I have used it sparingly for all this time because I’ve never found anything to replace it (shades like Kitten, Sin, Shroom, etc. were somewhat similar but not nearly close enough). But this shade from Sephora is the closest dupe I’ve seen in all these years. It has a shimmer finish that is smooth and creamy, with no gritty texture at all and no fallout. It’s a slightly pinky champagne that is beautiful, well-pigmented and so flattering in the way it brightens either my inner lids or my entire mobile lid on days when I’m looking less than bright-eyed. Price is unbeatable, packaging is serviceable and designed for easy “depotting” as well. When Sephora gets it right, they really get it right with their house brand.
I’ve nothing bad to say about this shadow at all. Given Sephora’s “stealth bomber” method of discontinuing their own products, though, I am purchasing a backup of this now rather than risk it disappearing without warning.
