Joov’s email list has been HACKED!
I bought their device and have an account with them.
Recently, I received a threatening email from Joovv asking for ransom money and when I contacted them, I was told their email list have been compromised.
I was shocked that Joovv did not even notify their customers of what’s going on with their company.
All Joovv does is market their product in the best possible light, trying to drop as many names as they can from the health industry on their website. But when it comes to their system being hacked, not a word!
How shady is this company? Your privacy have been compromised and they don’t care. I would stay away from Joovv.com.

Red light therapy in general is a well studied mode of therapy and Joovv has been promoting it aggressively.
Initially, I was happy with how they marketed their products and the information they’ve provided but the dishonest exclusions on non 5-star ratings made feel that this company isn’t what I thought it would be.
They’re using reviewers as marketing tool rather than provide a well rounded information to the public.

I’ve used the Joovv Red Light Therapy device and while it was overall great for skin health, I submitted a review on their website noting some caution to help the public. But my review was never published and all you can find on their website are 5-star reviews.
Red light therapy is great for overall health and for review here at MUA, it’s great for the skin but some side effects might include feelings of queasiness. It might also worsen rather than help swelling on certain scenarios. Use with caution.
Reviews are not for Joovv, they’re for the public. Cautionary reviews are just as important as 5-star ones. At the end of the day, I started to question the integrity of the company if all they care about is them and not the public.
Companies need to be transparent and not cherry pick reviews for the public to see especially for a thousand dollar product.
