I used the Body Butter in this range and wrote about that not too long ago (found it just so-so). I also had a sample of the lotion version and gave it a try over the weekend. Here are my thoughts: As moisturizers go it’s a pretty ok one. Ingredients-wise it’s quite basic, not anywhere near as natural or organic as the brand promotes itself as being, but the product itself is not actually that bad. It’s a runny consistency which pretty much pours out of the sachet if you’re not careful (or pump dispenser in case of full size product) and sinks in although not entirely – it leaves my skin (arms in this case) feeling slightly moist but not sticky or greasy. I’ve a feeling that’s partly down to the ‘Dimethicone’ in here. Fragrance was probably supposed to be floral but mine seems to be from an old batch and it doesn’t smell all that great so make sure if you get your hands on this that it’s from as new a batch as possible – the embossed batch code usually has the digit of the year of manufacture amongst its sequence. Performance won’t be affected much but it won’t smell nice at all. This is quite common with ‘majority oil-based ingredient’ lotions and creams, as oils have quite a short shelf life. I never have this issue with shampoos, concealers etc.
An inoffensive enough body hydrator but not one I’d go out and purchase unless on special offer.

I love constantly trying out new stuff – usually sample sizes via e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora)
