Notes from Fragrantica: coca-cola, sweet notes and citruses
I really wanted to love this. The opening smells identical to gummi cola bottle candy, and that’s amazing. Unfortunately, it dries down into something not as pleasant and I’m honestly not in love with it.

This smells not much like cola but more like incense. I’m not a fan of woodsy scents. I expected a fresh Coca-Cola-bottle type of scent and this is not it. I’ll keep looking.

I had such high hopes for this. I loved it on paper…it smelled pretty darned close to cola soda to me. However, as soon as it hit my skin, it turned into Pine Sol. A mild, sweet Pine Sol, but Pine Sol nonetheless. I’m guessing that this one really is dependent upon body chemistry, and on my skin, it is a no-no.

I pretty much second everything that SensualSusanna said below.
This my holy grail of lightweight, fun, inexpensive fragrances. Five lippies!
Update March 4, 2012: Now that I’ve tried Eau de Reglisse by Caron, I realize these two are very similar scents. I prefer Eau de Reglisse ever so slightly.

Who doesn’t like an icy cold Coca-Cola on a hot day? That is what L’Aromarine Cola smells like. I heard a nasty rumour that this is being discontinued which would be a shame. It’s fun, inexpensive and refreshing for summer. The only down part is the intial cola notes fade fast and the drydown is a sugary — albeit lemony bite. It’s pleasant and with so short the opening notes – reapplying is a must. It’s fine though— as I love reapplying in the summer months. Refresh, and enjoy — it’s the real thing!

I could just sit there and sniff the bottle because it initially smells like cola to me. When I sprayed it, I did get that citrus note described on the website I bought it from. The drydown reminded me more of an old fashioned men’s aftershave. I know this sounds really weird, but I love it anyway because it’s so unique. I think it’s a good unisex scent and I read on the fragrance board that it’s supposed to be discontinued.

The tiniest hint of cola, followed by a sugary, syrupy lemon scent that’s much more like a lemon lollipop than the actual fruit. Sophisticated it’s not, but Cola is a fun fragrance, and certainly an affordable one if you’re craving something sweet and citrusy for summer.

Bought a small bottle of this after smelling in a store…it really does smell like a fizzy-sweet glass of cola, freshly poured, when first applied! Dries down into a nice, citrusy smell – very light. I think this is great for daytime or warm weather; it’s pleasant and not at all overpowering or too sweet. Not one of my absolute favorites, but good for when I’m being indecisive or don’t want to go with something too bold.

From the moment I spray this on my neck I can’t help but feel happy. The cola and citrus work so well together, perfectly clean. The bottles used to have little plastic fizzies in the bottom, I miss that, but witout them there’s more room for this delicious scent.

This is the best cola fragrance I’ve found yet. I wouldn’t call it a true Coke or Pepsi — it smells more like a Coca-Cola flavored Slurpee, if you’ve ever had one of those — but the lightness that comes with this is refreshing. I love this fragrance!
