I have slightly ridged nails, and sticky base is not an option for me (it’s like crazy glue for me) so I like ridge filling base coat. A friend recommended this to me, and I bought it at Sally Beauty for $4.99. It has a pink tint in the bottle and that actually does show up on the nail. The brush is clear and mine is kind of crooked so application is somewhat of a challenge. It turns completely matte when dry, which I find helpful. Unfortunately, I find application of polish over this to be poor. It looks uneven, patchy and it does not fill in the ridges or help with opacity at all. It’s just not a good base coat. I’m typically not someone who throws polish away but I am considering it with this one.
