Ave day has always been an OG brand for me. I know the products aren’t as organic as they would have you believe, but I don’t care-the Aveda smell has never lost its mystique for me. The products have been somewhat hit or miss for me, but I recently ordered from the website due to a high number of GWPs, and I ordered this updated of Sap Moss shampoo.
Yes, it smells like Aveda, with a dollop of dirt. The product is thick and opaque, and contains Sodium Coco-Sulfate. $28 for 6.7 oz.
The shampoo has a soft, foamy lather that I could tell was conditioning. When I rinsed, the hair felt soft but not coated and slippery. I followed with my HG Andalou conditioner. I was extremely pleased with the results; soft, conditioned hair plus shine. My hair is lightened to streaky light ash blonde, very fine and prone to frizz. It looked like better hair. Will repurchase.
