I found this at CVS for about $9 and so I got it in the color Natural Beige, as judging from the outside frosty glass bottle, it looked to be the closest. It is thicker than I thought (ysl fusion ink foundation), but is a dropper type application. It does get messy around the opening because it is thicker in texture. It is nicely pigmented, and the color does slightly match my medium -tan Asian skintone. It seems to oxidize a bit as well. It dries down to a powdery finish, very reminiscent of YSL Fusion Ink, however it does not last as long as it seems to have disappeared after a few hours. I consider it drying as well, so if you have dry skin, this may not be for you. I have combo skin so it just seemed to accent my lines and pores as time went on. The color range isn’t the best, so if you can’t find your exact color match, you may also want to pass on this…keep in mind it does oxidize a little. For me, I will pass because though I can make it work for everyday use, it’s drying effect , or “chalkiness” as it was referred to by a previous reviewer, is a deal breaker. We want youthful skin, not zombie skin, right?

I found this to be very similar to tarte rainforest of the sea water based foundation. I wore them side by side and no one that I asked could tell the difference. For the price I would repurchase.

I am enjoying this foundation. The only draw back is the color is rather yellow based- ( I have the shade natural beige) and there isn’t much of a color selection. The dropper can get messy and it tends to collect foundation around the mouth of the bottle. It works best for me with a synthetic brush and I use one dropper for my whole face. I also find it works best with a primer underneath. It isn’t the longest wearing, it lasts on me about 6 hours and it starts to break apart a bit. I just love that it feels like nothing on my skin and I get great coverage that truly looks like skin. It’s very affordable…($8.99 I believe) – I know it’s less than $10.00 at CVS. I find thinner foundations work best for me that don’t settle in my lines.

Is this brand Korean? Korean inspired? Idk man, I’ve heard it both ways. Regardless, this is part of CVS’s K-Beauty section, and there’s been lots of buzz around it, so of course I tried it. And after exclusively using Korean BB creams and foundations for the last 3 years I don’t feel like I had unrealistic expectations when it came to this, so… um… WTF!? Why was this a chalky mess? It literally sucked the life out of my (10 step pampered, chok-chok plump) skin. Actually, let me back this up a bit. The dropper bottle was a little messy because this is quite thin, so rogue drops happened on my way from the bottle to my hand, but it applied really well! I got great coverage – more than I was anticipating – with just a damp Beauty Blender. And it blended into my skin great, but once it started drying? Jesus Mary and Joseph this DID NOT work for my skin. Within minutes it settled, dried, and despite pairing this with Joah primer it made me look every single day of my 36 years. I took it off and took it back to CVS for a refund. When the girl behind the counter asked why I was returning it and I said it turned my skin into a chalky mess she nodded sagely and said, “yeah, it was awful for me too.”
