A lil goes a long way as this definitely does leave a film behind and I found if I used too much it makes for a difficult removal. Its great at removing eye makeup without irritating my eyes. The scent of this feels earthy. No synthentics used to make it smell pretty. Unfortunately this went bad on me before I had the chance to fully use it up so its best to use up within 6 months so you don’t end up losing money.

Great pre-cleanse product. I have used it as my sole face cleanser but it seems to perform better if I apply it before getting into the shower, by this I mean it rinses off better vs washing my face over the sink. Maybe the shower steam helps?
If I use it at the sink, I can feel a slight film even after splashing my face several times. No worries, I follow it with Yuli Halcyon.
The actual oil is slightly viscous, enough so you can massage over your face without tugging. The scent is heavenly! Like all KGB products. I use 2-3 pumps and do not warm the oil in my hands. I immediately massage into my dry skin and I can see it breaking up my sunscreen. I do this for about 1 minute. I can also feel impurities lifted from my face. I follow with splashes of warm water and I definitely see the oil emulsify. My face feels comfortable but I do feel the slight film I mentioned earlier. For this reason, I am thinking of looking into other precleansers.
