I wanted to love this primer, but will be returning it. It applies smoothly and doesn’t ball up. The texture is smooth and siliconey. A tiny bit goes a long way and I didn’t notice any fragrance. The oil control is amazing. It does exactly what it claims.
I normally blot every hour, but with this primer I didn’t need to blot for 4 hours and could have waited even longer.
Unfortunately by the end of the work day, I had an eruption of little pimples all over my face. I normally don’t break out from products and can tolerate heavy makeup well, so I tried it again the next day. I had sprouted several larger but not quite cystic pimples by the end of the day. It was great at controlling oil, but it’s not worth the breakouts.
Also, I have sensitive skin and felt a minor burning sensation upon application. I will stick to Bobbi Brown Primer Plus Mattifier. It doesn’t control oil as well but at least it doesn’t sting or cause acne.
It was $48 CAD for 40 mL and I purchased it at Sephora (online).
