Trind is pricey and loaded with (effective) chemicals, but man, this stuff works. I use the 3 step system with Nail Balsam, Nail Repair and then Trind’s brightener over top. Some of the best nail products out there – but I am fairly certain there is formaldehyde in some of them.

I’ve used this for about a month. I really like it! I bought it because all of my nails suddenly started peeling very badly – it hasn’t heppened to me in years. I later took some blood tests and found that I was now on iron, Vit D, B12 and not so high on some other stuff too, but I still couldn’t be walking around with the nails in the shape they were in. Bought this, put it on… Oh my gosh… While this dries, do NOT hold your head over where the solvents evaporate – they will make your eyes burn! This also has formaldehyde, which is a reason you don’t want to breathe this, and also keep it away from skin and cuticles – I learnt the hard way. The formaldehyd strengthening nails by cross-binding protein in the nails. This means: if your nails lack protein, you might want to use a treatments for that first, or just eat more protein. I have not experiences any staining or sensitivity, like a reviewer mentioned, and my nails are MUCH harder now, and not peeling 🙂
This has a small-ish (thin) brush, and gives the nails a slightly lighter colour. Dries fast, unless you do several layers (it still drives quite fast then too).
I’m not quite sure what the reviewer under me means with “marks” on her nails. This has formaldehyde, which can stain nails, but mine actually became very nice and white 🙂
I will definitely buy again if my nails need strengthening. Through my life I’ve tried quite a few strengthening nail polishes (had brittle nails as a kid/teenager), and this is definitely one of the best 🙂 Expensive, but worth it for me – if this is going to continue to work like it does, I won’t ever bother searching for anything better 🙂

I bought this product hoping it would strenghtening my nails. I have to nails that is constantly peeling and I always end up cutting down my nails to nubbs. This product has a very high concentrate of formaldehyde which can cause an allergic reaction.
I put this on my nails before going to bed and I was very careful not to touch my cuticles with the product. It’s supposed to make the cuticles really bad. Anyway, I woke up in the middle on the night feeling a pulsating sensation under my nails and it was also hurting a little. I removed it and went back to bed. The day after I noticed the product have made marks on my nails. There were darker lines right before where the tip is white.
I was very disappointed with this product. 🙁

Absolute HG for my nails. I’ve been using this for three months. Prior to this my nails would grow, but my index and middles finger nails would break very quickly, and all other nails would peel and split.
Within three months I’ve got long, even length nails on every finger – that are strong and no longer peel and split. This is hands down (pun intended) the best thing I’ve ever used!
For reference I also use two coats of OPI Nail Envy prior to one coat of Trind Nail Repair for maximum effect – I’ve used NE for several years so it’s definitely not that making the magic happen, although it might add to the brilliance.
In addition to super stong long nails it gives a great smooth base to a manicure – and have many comments on my new ‘shellac’ nails!

Trind Nail Repair is an amazing product. I just removed my gel nails… yes, I got conned into that nail-destroying treatment about six weeks ago. After two rounds, I decided to peel off the gels myself (rather than soaking in pure acetone for 15 minutes again), and pulled my TNR out of my nail drawer. It’s been a few days now, but already my nails are looking great. I know the rebuilding process is going to take awhile, but I’m all Trind, all the time from now on. Great stuff that gives your nail a great look!

I honestly can’t believe that no one else has reviewed this. I have to be missing it somewhere. But here goes anyway…..
This is a HG item for me, without a doubt. I have very weak, thin nails. They grow very slowly and are prone to tearing as soon as they get any length to them. I have found products that help them grow, but don’t strengthen. Conversly I have also found products that strengthen them, but don’t help with growth. This does both, quickly, and for a very reasonable price. I saw it advertised in one of those magazine inserts in the newspaper, and decided to give it a try. Even though all the customer testimonials were from women who appeared to be in their 90’s. I bought a kit that came with the nail repair, something called nail balsam which is a moisturizer, and a small file/buffer. The directions say to apply the balsam to clean, dry nails and allow to sink in for about 2 minutes. Then rub in any excess. Then apply the nail repair and allow to dry. For the first two weeks you remove every day with non-acetone remover, then repeat the above steps. After the first two weeks you can remove and reapply as needed. I have been using it for about 2 months and now do it twice a week.
This stuff is AMAZING. My nails look and feel healthy and strong. They have a nice shine to them. They are growing faster than ever before. And they are holding up to everyday wear, and I am very hard on my nails. I wash my hands at least 20 times a day and they are going strong. I also apply Sally Hansen cuticle oil every night before bed.
I always used to think that if I wanted my nails to look nice then I would have to get enhancements put on. And don’t get me wrong, I still put gel on my nails when I want them to look extra good. (See my other review for Gelish) But the rest of the time, when I want more of a natural look, this is totally the way to go for me.
I will repurchase this as long as I can!
