I got this for 25 from winners. It is listed for 50 at sephora.
It is a thick balm. Too thick IMO. When i put it on, it feels like my skin cannot absorb it because it is that thick.
It has niacinamide which is why i bought it. But i wonder how effective it is if it feels lile the balm just sits on my skin.
I like how it is listed as a “clean” product on sephora (not harsh chemicals, scents etc). But wont buy again since it doesnt seem to do anything.

Amazing, super thick eye balm that will last a long time so the price is just right. I have trouble with a lot of eye creams having too much retinol & anti-aging ingredients that really irritate my sensitive skin. Simple, gentle moisturization is key & this is just it!

I got a sample of this from Sephora to try out after the SA told me it’s good for sensitive skin, which I have. The second I put this on my undereye area, my skin got really hot and started burning. I looked at reviews on Sephora’s website after my bad experience, and quite a few other people had the same problem. I’m really glad I tried out a sample before actually spending money on this terrible product.

For the past three months, for some odd reason, my eyes have been SUPER SENSITIVE. (When I would cry, the skin around my eyes would burn and feel irritated. Or, for example, some mornings I would wake up to “inflamed” red eyelids and dry patches) I’ve bought an expensive humidifier, and the best moisturizers, but every eye cream kept burning and irritating me… Soon I found out the only thing that helped was when I applied Vaseline to my dry patches. ANYHOW! Then I went into Sephora, and I showed her my eyelid, and she was like “Oh my!” and she ran to the First aid beauty counter. She told me I wont regret it, and gave me a sample of this as well. It’s been two days and I felt the change the day after I used my first application. Even my mom realised how awake and alert my eyes finally were!
I do find that this is pricey (55$ tax included) for such a small little thing. But it’s working… I also don’t like how there is no pump to this – I really really wish there were…
But the product itself helps enormously if you’re trying to calm down an irritation around your eye.

Even though I do have a tendency to be the first to review some products, like this one, I have to admit, there is safety in numbers (especially when my experience is negative). Sometimes, I feel like what happened to me is a bizarre one-off situation, so I am reluctant to post a review. So I looked at the reviews of this product on Sephora’s website and found a reviewer whose experience with this product was identical to mine. So now I don’t feel as bad posting my review. So here goes. I have had a good experience with a few products in this line, and a very bad experience with others. This falls into the latter category. I would apply at night, and it seemed to have the right texture–nice and moisturizing, not too greasy. And then I would wake up in the morning with my eyes crusted shut. Gross, I know, but true. At first, I thought I was to blame for not removing yesterday’s eye makeup carefully enough, but then it happened even on mornings after I wore no makeup the prior day. Then I used it on one eye and something else on the other and woke up with FAB eye crusted shut. I wish I knew what did this so I can avoid that ingredient, but in the meantime, I will just avoid this product.
