I love the smell of the shampoo I have always loved the scent of Rose’s . Rose oil is really good for hair helps it grow healthy and strong

Not as volumizing as I’d hoped but leaves hair soft and sleek. Rose scent is very nice (I love rose fragrance.) Pink clear liquid. Rinses out well. Hair feels a bit squeaky afterwards, so it’s somewhat clarifying or at least it doesn’t leave a residue. But hair the next day is not particularly volumized and not lying down well or standing out with huge volume either. Kind of “meh.” I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either.
I like the price but not sure the performance is very good. I’m sensitive to shampoo performance as I have fine hair–a fair amount of it even at my age (approaching seventy, holy hell) and I’m still having normal hair that isn’t dry except in dead of winter.
I tried a number of shampoos including German “Guhl” in Magnolia (very good, wish it were sold here) , “Prose” (awful, an expensive experiment) and some from Lush (too harsh on my hair but very volumizing–Big) and I typically use Biolage or Matrix, with best results because I can get them here easily.
The Suave is way less expensive but so far the results are mediocre. If I were on a budget, I’d be pretty happy with this shampoo. But it’s definitely borderline performance. If you have normal hair with not many issues (say tending to dry…not oily, not fine) you might find this is just the thing for you.
