This mascara has a bristle brush which I always appreciate. It’s a fairly wet mascara when first opened and a bit fume-y to my eyes.
The mascara gives a lovely, fluttery, open-eyed look. Very pretty and on the natural side.
However, I bought this looking for a long-lasting mascara for my retail work job. Unfortunately, this does smudge on me a bit over half way to three quarters through my shift and I only wear it on my upper lashes.

This is a really good waterproof mascara. I have been using this for a few years. It is NOT a tubing mascara though as others have said. I’m assuming they are confusing it with some other CG style of mascara.
I like the basic wand, it’s not clumpy and it gives a nice thick look to my very VERY skimpy lashes.

I really hate that it takes so long for these products to make their way to Canada. I think this has been on the market for years but it only arrived in store here a week ago! Finally, a drugstore tubing mascara that is cruelty-free, simple packaging, lengthens like mad, and gives all the benefits I’m looking for from a tubing formula – no smudging or flaking and easy to remove. I was using L’Oreal Double Extend Tubing Mascara for the longest time (and I do love it) but I don’t always want to use the primer end and they don’t make this with just the mascara as an option to purchase so I’m really happy to have found this one, especially since I really like the wand style they used. Many other tubing mascaras have been a disappointment for one or more reasons, mainly, they flake or irritate my eyes and do not remove as a tubing formula should. Some of the pricier ones have been the worst, one example is Blinc, which makes my lashes feel like hard sticks and look really unnatural. I’ve only been using CoverGirl for a week and as long as it doesn’t turn flaky or get goopy or dry out in short order then I think I have found a winner here.

Don’t know if my tube was old or what but this flaked after a couple of hours and kept on flaking all day. It did build nice length and suitable volume. I had to recurl my lashes again after I was done so not great on curl retention. Cheap price. Wish it had worked but the flaking was a no go.

I love this mascara more every day, especially after I try other mascaras that fail me.
This mascara goes on smoothly and can be built to hyper natural extremes without looking spidery. I love that this is a tubing mascara although it does not come off in specific tubes and I can use jojoba oil to very easily remove it.
What is indeed remarkable to me is how this mascara refuses to stick to itself, allowing my lashes to never clump together at all. Even if I apply with a heavy hand and they look stuck together, I just need to wait a few seconds and they magically unstick, looking better after drying that when first laid down.
Other tubing products cover the hairs unevenly and looks really noticeable which I hate, but this maracas never does this at all, but it does dry quickly, at least in my arid-like area. This is ok however, as the tubes are CHEAP cheap cheap, especially when it does on sale which happens often and I stockpile them happily.
This makeup is not bulletproof however they way one may expect a tubing mascara to be and there can be minor smudging that get fixed with the flick of a finger but that’s about it. I will use my other tubing mascaras by Revlon and Boots on the bottom lashes as these other products, although having failed me on the top are great on the bottom as to never run when I tear up from allergies and never budge, which is good for the bottom row. I have also noticed that the new Revlon tubing mascara is hard to comb through, sticking like glue to a simple plastic lash comb, a scary experience that does not happen with this Cover Girl product.
I sincerely hope Cover Girl does not discontinue this mascara!!!!! I don’t know where I would turn if they do. The difference in my before and after is huge and dramatic but still nature looking, like a person’s best lashes ever. I love it and I hope I can buy this forever.

This stuff is super cheap and awesome!! The tube is tiny and fits neatly in your purse or makeup bag. The formula is very creamy and glossy. Easy to wash off, no fall out or fade, rich pigmentation and a great brush. For about $3.50, what is not to love?! I have used up one tube and will definitely be buying another. This is a great little mascara. You won’t be sorry!

Love this! I was looking for a new every day mascara and figured I would give Cover Girl another try. I am NOT a fan of their new applicators. They scratch my delicate eye area and are too big. But when I saw this one with the softer brush, I figured I would give it a shot. I bought it in black-brown (I usually use L’oreal Carbon Black… But it’s a pain to remove and gets EVERYWHERE!). PROS: Lots of volume and length, doesn’t scratch my eyes, gets the little corner hairs, stays put, easily washes off with warm water and cetaphil. Cons: the smell!! Urgh. Chemically-Chocolatish. I am not a fan but I deal with it until it dries because I really like this mascara. **Note** not for those who prefer a wet mascara. This one is the perfect driness.

Solid everyday mascara that won’t plague you with issues but also won’t blow your mind. It’s extremely inexpensive (like $5, which is super cheap even for drugstore) and the tube does something I’ve never experienced before – it clicks and locks when you replace the wand!
It’s the little things.
It gives me nice, fanned out lashes with no *major* lengthening or thickening, but it’s easy to apply and remove, stays on all day, doesn’t flake or smudge, and doesn’t irritate my easily-irritated eyes. My main complaint is that the darkest shade is more of a soft black than the squid-ink-deep-dark-midnight black I need for my coloring and ~aesthetic~. For that reason, I probably won’t repurchase but I will happily use up the tube I have.

I have one word for this mascara. UNBELIEVABLE. It gives me thick, long, black, separated lashes a mile long. No clumps, flakes, smudging. Washes off with soap and water. It is now my HG and I have tried them all, from HE to DS. Purple tube with Professional Remarkable written on it. $4.49 at Target. Amazing..

I’m surprised I didn’t even know this mascara existed until recently. My light brown lashes are essentially invisible without mascara. Problem solved by this terrific everyday mascara that does not clump, stays put, is easy to remove and has a regular spoolie non-plastic brush. And my very sensitive eyes have no problem with it.
If I want more oomph, I can add a second coat of either this or a thickening mascara depending on how much I want.
My new HG.
