It’s a beautiful product, feels very natural and medicinal almost.
If I had more money is buy it again ( this is my second tube)
It’s nourishing and more mask like than any cleanser I’ve used. Probably best compared to a balm cleanser. This really showcases the different thought process the deciem owners had when coming up with this product. It’s very different. Leaves the skin nourished and clean, but cannot tackle heavy makeup. Propanly better for mature skin on the drier side

Dry aging skin here. Have very mild rosacea with enlarged pores only in T-zone. I’m about 1/3 through a 90ml tube of this and I see no difference in my skin between this and my usual Auromere ayurvedic cleansing bar (vanilla-neem or rose-neem). Those bars are ~$2 each. I was (am) seeking a deeper cleaning option to alternate with the bars. The SS is fine, and if not for the price, I’d keep it. Pros: my skin is not tight or dry after using (this never happens), skin does feel smooth. Cons: see above. Packaging doesn’t bother me at all. A flilp-top lid would be nice to have, but I’ve had no issues with leaking/losing product. Maybe because I made a small puncture instead of opening the whole seal (that’s just how the point on the cap worked this time).

Strangely, when I first bought this product I didn’t like it at all. It felt like it wasn’t really doing anything and a waste of money.
But I don’t throw away products and it wasn’t offensive. I’ve restricted to using this in the mornings as an AM cleanse as I wanted something more effective in the evenings to thoroughly remove all my makeup and any dirt.
So halfway through the tube I’ve realised that I actually really like the effect it has on my skin. I’ve also found the best way to use it. You should t use too much water (either your face or hands need to be dry, if both are wet the paste doesn’t “stick” on as work as well). You also need a generous amount, too little doesn’t work.
So after my morning shower (somehow I keep my face fairly dry) I work out a good amount (I’d say about a double pea size, if you use any less it doesn’t really work) on wet hands and then work it onto my mostly dry face. I leave it on whilst I put on my body oils and towel dry and step out of the shower.
Then wash it off with Lukewarm water at the sink before my morning routine. It feels like I’m doing a mini mask (roughly 3 minutes) every morning. If I feel like leaving it on longer I brush my teeth and then wash it off.
It works a charm. I have very oily (extremely combo skin) that’s acne prone and with medium sized pores. This leaves my skin feeling very cleansed but not dry. The smell is earthy which I strangely like. It feels very, very natural but effective it just takes time for you to see the difference and appreciate it.
Once I’ve finished my night time cleanser I might try using this as my second step in my evening routine (after my Banila Zéro cleansing balm).
I’d recommend it to people who have oily / combination / sensitive skin and is looking for something cleansing but not stripping for their morning cleanser 🙂 especially if you’re into more natural skincare products.

I have combination skin, and this is one the best cleanser I have tried, and I have tried quite a few. It’s not a make up remover and for this reason I use saponin mainly in the morning. I have blackheads on my nose and chin and this cleanser helps with keeping them at bay. I highly recommend it!

It’s a pretty solid cream cleanser for combination to oily skin. Very mild, rinses clean and doesn’t dry out the skin. Most importantly, it doesn’t irritate or break me out, which is a mighty feat in itself. The price is steep, but a little goes a long way. I got it in the Black Friday set, so haven’t used it that often on the account of my skin being dryer than usual in the winter months, but I can tell it will be a hit during spring and summer. I took a lippie off because of the steep price and the fact it does not remove makeup, but otherwise I think it’s a really good product.

While it seems to cleanse quite well and I really like its yeast scent and texture, my skin feel a little tight after using it and I suspect that contributes to dryer, duller skin at the end of the day. I very much prefer NIOD’s LVCE (although the scent can be off-putting), which leaves my skin clean but so soft.

For starters – I’m a combination skin type (oily Tzone) normal cheeks however I do suffer from hormonal acne & congested skin along my cheeks & jawline.
Decided to try this cleanser as I read good reviews! I was hesitant too as some had said it left their skin tight and the scent was awful.
I was pleasantly surprised! I found the scent incredibly mild (slight yeast scent but nothing bad!) and I love how my skin feels after I cleanse!! It doesn’t leave me reaching for moisturiser as soon as I dry my face like other cleansers I have. My open pores looked spotless right after the first use and I am hoping & praying it will decongest my skin with continued use! I use it every night after removing my makeup with a facial wipe! HG product!! 1 lippie taken off for packaging which everyone seems to agree on – metal tube = difficult to dispense.

I agree with Tiffany it’s a good cleanser but nothing I would buy again. It does leave my skin soft and not dry. It’s a balm-like cleanser, however, I don’t know if it’s enough to remove sunscreen. It’s also expensive for what you get and the packaging is annoying because when you take the cap off, a little bit will keep spilling out. Also, the description on the website is so pretentious and annoying I can’t stand this side of Deciem, I swear.

Does what it says, cleans your skin. That being said, it’s an good cleanser. Def not a HG item. I just don’t think it’s worth the price. I have oily, acne prone skin (cystic acne, clogged pores, hyper pigmentation), it didn’t cause any type of break out or irritation. Gave a good fresh, clean feeling. Major downside is that you don’t get a lot for the price, and the tube packaging that it comes in (as cute as it is) wastes a lot of product if not re-caped immediately. I don’t use it everyday, I use it on days that I’m not wearing makeup (it doesn’t take off makeup either — it’s not supposed to, you’ll need to take it off with something else, or use this cleanser on bare skin) when I want an extra clean feeling. I massage it onto damp skin and leave it on as a mask for 5-10 minutes. It does seem to “shrink” pores and reduce redness temporarily. I will use the product until it’s empty, but probably won’t repurchase because it didn’t “wow” me. I had higher expectations from the reviews I read, but this just an OK product for me.
PROS:
– Doesn’t cause acne
– Doesn’t irritate skin
– Cleanses bare skin well
– Cute packaging
CONS:
– Expensive for the amount you get
– Doesn’t take off makeup (but it doesn’t claim to)
– Packaging is cute… but not practical and is messy. A lot of product leaks out of the tube = wasteful
– Burns if you get it into your eyes & tastes disgusting if you get it into your mouth

I find this to be a (another) very interesting and effective product from Niod. This is a cream in a tube cleansing balm based on Ayurvedic plant surfactants. You rub in onto your wet face and rinse off. It is meant to be used on skin that has no makeup on. Niod has a very thorough scientific explanation of how this product works on their website…but to use plain language it thoroughly cleans your pores in a gentle Ph balanced way based upon plant saponins. I find it very pleasant to use and it seems to leave my skin very clean and fresh.
