I bought this because it looked like too good of a value to pass up and I need a new daily moisturizer. You get 4.39oz and it retails for $33, though Walmart had it for only $20. I have formula from 2017, in the gold/silver packaging. It has a legit lot code, and I have to use it in 10 months or so, so it seems that they are just trying to get rid of old stock. I don’t know how useful my review will be since this formula looks better than the white/gold bottle (more of the good ingredients), but reviewing it anyways.
PROS: This is the nicest packaging of any skincare product I will ever use in my entire life! The bottle is simply stunning, so overtly high-end looking and LUXE. I cannot take my eyes off it and it makes me feel rich lol. They have since redesigned it to be just white and gold design (boring), but the one I have is this grey to gold gradient with this flat monochrome sparkle if you look up close. You have to see it in life. It is the ultimate “I’m rich!” style design. It even has that “pleasing, luxury weight” to it and comes in a shiny, high end looking box. But here’s the real kicker – it’s completely see through so you can tell how much product you have left from EVERY ANGLE (360 degrees), the inside straw extends to the very fucking bottom, the pump doesn’t dispense tons at once so you won’t waste product, and the pump easily twists off when you’re ready to get the last drops out! What the hell!? I feel like a walking advertisement for it now. As for the product itself, I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin using this too, it looks brighter and it does calm my skin, making it look more even. I really like how it has niacinamide, baobab, snail slime, and centella among other things. Very well rounded!
CONS: It has that snail slime feeling alright. It’s also not really that hydrating. It’s a light product for sure, but it doesn’t exactly go looking that way. I would say this is better for normal skin, SokoGlam goes further and says even OILY. I use it still because I have other steps and then there is sunscreen, so I don’t really need a product for dry skin at that point even though I do have normal to dry skin.
OTHER: Quite fragranced, but I really LIKE the fragrance of it. It just smells “perfumed” like something Redken would do, and also smells high end-sy. All forms of this seem to have either fragrance or singular fragrant oils, so don’t expect it to go away. It is memorable though.
OVERALL: If I were to describe this, it’s a light moisturizer that aims to calm the skin. It reminds me of the Hylamide Low Molecular HA. Even though that is supposed to be really hydrating, on my skin that was lighter because it drank it up and it left me with plumper skin! This one however doesn’t use hyaluronic acid to do something similar. I would totally buy this again, but the newer formula looks to have less mango seed butter, less niacinamide, less centella, etc. Boo.

I have no idea what’s wrong with this product, but every time I use it I wake up with a sallow complexion. It doesn’t seem to get absorbed into skin, so it sits on top in an unpleasant greasy film. I definitely regret buying this product.

Great product, I buy it 6 weeks ago and using it daily and sometimes Im using after this product 24k gold snail cream from missha as well. It cause me no irritation and is nicely misturize (I have normal skin) but Im sure it will be even more good for someone with combination or oily :))) I bought snail products for purpose make my scars and red spot less visible but it also gave me nice bonus – 80% less blackheads! Im sure is the combination of snail and 24k gold stuff from missha! Amazing results I gave up fight with blackheads years ago but this works so amazing!!!

I like this moisturizer. At first it seems thick gel and face looks glossy after application. I have a combination skin and thought it never absorbs and I have to blot it with a tissue. But was surprised – it didn’t take to long for the gel to absorb with no trace of gloss.
It has a very nice grassy smell, a pump, and luxury packaging.
I probably will buy it again because it really helps to calm skin irritation and it has a good ratio: quantity/price/quality.
