I had high expect this to be a one-and-done sun block as well as tinted cream, however it really did not rather exercise. Here’s why:
1. The color is a smidge too dark on my NC20 skin. I can make it work, however it makes me look tan.
2. In order to get the stated SPF 45, you have to utilize 1/4 teaspoon of product. Nevertheless, the color looks streaky when I utilize that much item. I suppose I can try utilizing a sponge, but then that also minimizes the quantity of SPF you end up obtaining.
3. It feels tacky as well as does moist down. I do not even trouble trying to put foundation ahead. Perhaps a powder foundation would certainly function, however I do not possess any. It’s difficult to get concealer to stick ahead. I delicately pressed my undereye to use eye liner to the waterline, as well as can see where my fingers had been b/c the coverage vanished where I touched my skin. I have to set with a generous amount of powder.
Some things I simulated concerning the item was that it did a great task of evening out my soreness. I would certainly say it gives light coverage. It does not sting my eyes since it’s an all-mineral sunscreen. Generally, the pros do not surpass the cons. I’m going to attempt to use this up, but I’m not mosting likely to rebuy it.

Yikes!
This provided amazing sun defense, yet it resembles makeup, it is really yellow and also oxidizes terribly throughout the day.
As the day passed, my face really felt incredibly limited and also hefty. I cleaned my take on in my college shower room.
I only offered it 2 stars as a result of security.

I didn’t believe I ‘d such as a sunscreen as high as my HG Australian Gold Botanical Mineral Tinted SPF50 however this is a wonderful sun block, probably even nicer yet certainly extra costly. It is the one I have actually been reaching for as the climate turned cooler as well as AG can be fairly matte/drying on my already dry skin. On The Other Hand, PTR Max Mineral SPF is creamy and also sinks into the skin like a whipped cream. The color looks far more pigmented than it really is, and it assimilates perfectly to just even out my skin tone sufficient to reduce the surface soreness I have. Unlike a few of the various other older reviews I do not find this moving, or looking orange on my skin. It blend in quickly and is undetected to me once I’m done using it. Perhaps it has been reformulated? Although this is pricey I would certainly repurchase because the formula is outstanding, it secures my skin and rests very well under makeup, no pilling, etc. Deducting one lippie for the cost. Most likely is entitled to 4.5 for a colored mineral sun block.

I had high hopes for this to be a one-and-done sunscreen and tinted moisturizer, but it didn’t quite work out. Here’s why:
1. The tint is a smidge too dark on my NC20 skin. I can make it work, but it makes me look tan.
2. In order to get the stated SPF 45, you have to use 1/4 teaspoon of product. However, the tint looks streaky when I use that much product. I suppose I could try using a sponge, but then that also lessens the amount of SPF you end up getting.
3. It feels tacky and does not dry down. I don’t even bother trying to put foundation on top. Maybe a powder foundation would work, but I don’t own any. It’s hard to get concealer to stick on top. I gently pressed my undereye to apply eyeliner to the waterline, and could see where my fingers had been b/c the coverage disappeared where I touched my skin. I have to set with a generous amount of powder.
Some things I did like about the product was that it did a good job of evening out my redness. I’d say it gives light coverage. It does not sting my eyes because it’s an all-mineral sunscreen. Overall, the pros do not outweigh the cons. I’m going to try to use this up, but I’m not going to rebuy it.

This offered amazing sun protection, but it looks like makeup, it is very yellow and oxidizes terribly throughout the day.
As the day went by, my face felt super tight and heavy. I washed my face off in my school bathroom.
I only gave it two stars because of protection.

I really like the ingredients in this. It didn’t break me out, and went on smoothly and was a pretty good primer for foundation. But it turned very orangey as the day wore on. It looked mostly natural on my NW20 skin, but a few hours later it began to give a Cheeto effect. I much prefer Coola’s line for an spf/bb cream.

I’ve been using this for a few months now.
1. As a mineral sunscreen it is gentle. Since it is tinted it does not leave a white cast.
2. It isn’t particularly moisturizing. If you have dry skin you may need something else under it.
3. It is dewy, at least for a little while. Maybe a little excessively so.
4. The brown tint is kind of annoying. It gets on clothes and tissues. Sometimes it’s hard to wash off at the end of the day. Obviously, white mineral sunscreens also leave residue but the brown makes it feel like you’re wearing makeup all day.
5. It does “blur” imperfections like mild acne scars and redness a bit.
Overall, I am a fan of this sunscreen, but I may try out some white mineral sunscreens because the brown tint is pretty annoying – and it also isn’t hydrating. I may go back to it depending on how the other sunscreens behave.

I thought this was going to be a winner for me but it is too heavy, sticky and shiny for under makeup. It takes forever for it to dry down and it does not work well with foundations. I tried it with several foundations I had and it sheered/ate them all out to nothing while usually I can get medium coverage. The tint to it was perfect for NC20-30 skin tone for summer but if you’re super porcelain it could be too dark. It was non-irritating so I would have to reserve this for winter but why bother? I already have better sunscreens like Biore, Paula’s Choice and Murad that all work well with makeup so I won’t be keeping this.

The new Peter Thomas Roth Max Mineral Naked Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is truly one of the best mineral sunscreens that I’ve tried in a long time. The Max Mineral Naked SPF has absolutely no white cast that many other mineral sunscreens have. This SPF has a very slight tint that can help to correct imperfections and it also works well under makeup. The Peter Thomas Roth Sunscreen contains several good antioxidants, including Vitamin C which is a great ingredient to use underneath or with your sunscreen to help boost the sunscreens work against free radicals. I also like that this sunscreen doesn’t leave skin looking or feeling dry or greasy. This is one sunscreen that I don’t mind applying every morning, which says a lot about it! I also love that this is a fragrance free sunscreen. If you are searching for a great sunscreen for dry or oily skin this is one that I highly recommend checking out.
