I don’t have a tendency to use fluid eyeliners, especially in black, because I am not so experienced with them and also at my age black often tends to highlight great lines as well as other things I do not desire highlighted on my eyes. When I was in Bangkok this December, before China closed down the entire globe with their criminal negligence, I had the ability to get a good makeover from the SA at the Tom Ford counter as well as he presented me to this eyeliner. He used it to tightline as well as highlight the external corners of my eyes, to lift them. It was the most effective impact which I was additionally able to easily recreate by myself, in your home. I enjoy the skinny end of the pen for tightlining, it is definitely perfect. The shade is really pigmented, matte, and also it does not bleed, despite having my watery eyes. It’s bloody expensive, yet I have been using this a whole lot given that December and also it’s still going strong. I have actually gotten more affordable liquid eyeliners which ran out on me in a couple of weeks, so if you take that right into account, this pen is not that costly.

This is a double finished liquid liner pen. One side is fairly great semi-flexible brush idea as well as the various other end is a practically diamond shaped felt suggestion. The brush suggestion applies easily as well as can be utilized for both thick as well as thin lines. The felt pointer is all right but it does have a tendency to avoid over fine lines and also appearance. The formula is a satin surface rich black and it doesn’t fall apart plume or crack. It an be used over top of shimmer as well as radiance shadow yet you will require 2-3 layers over truly thick shimmery tones. The largest problem with this item is that it smears rather severely for me. So if you have watery eyes or perhaps just extremely oily covers this might not be the liner for you especially at this price factor. I have pharmacy linings that wear better. I actually desire it stood up well though because the application and also product packaging are both actually great.

this is such an easy liquid liner to make use of, its fool proof and makes lining the eyes a convenience. It advises me of the brushtip on the Kat Von D however so much a lot more nontransparent and deep in color. hence the name Deeper. It does not spot and also def does not fade like the KVD Cannon fodder. I love just how its matte as well as isn’t shiney like the Stila Remain all the time. It doesn’t move like the Dior On Stage. Much easier to use than Mac Brush Stroke. Trademark de Chanel is really an actually good one also but the Tom Ford one gives me a lot more control. i wish it wasnt so pricey. Its about 64 bucks with tax obligation and also i hate to say it but i am okay with that.It saves me time and also headaches in the morning, reduces my eyelining anxiety to 0, also lets me do the most gorgeous wing that i couldve never attained with any type of various other liner, so of course i will get this again
Edit- After having this while summer season showed up, i locate that it did move if i line the top of my lips as well thick. I am a bit dissapointed honestly. I will be returning this as well as use the cash to obtain something more worth it.
For the price tag i unfortunately had return to my Dior Onstage

I don’t tend to use liquid eyeliners, especially in black, because I am not so skillful with them and at my age black tends to emphasize fine lines and other things I don’t want emphasized on my eyes. When I was in Bangkok this December, before China shut down the whole world with their criminal negligence, I was able to get a nice makeover from the SA at the Tom Ford counter and he introduced me to this eyeliner. He used it to tightline and emphasize the outer corners of my eyes, to lift them. It was the best effect which I was also able to easily recreate by myself, at home. I love the skinny end of the pen for tightlining, it is absolutely perfect. The color is very pigmented, matte, and it doesn’t bleed, even with my watery eyes. It’s bloody expensive, but I have been using this a lot since December and it’s still going strong. I have bought cheaper liquid eyeliners which dried up on me in a couple of weeks, so if you take that into account, this pen is not that expensive.

This is a double ended liquid liner pen. One side is fairly fine semi-flexible brush tip and the other end is a almost diamond shaped felt tip. The brush tip applies effortlessly and can be used for both thick and thin lines. The felt tip is okay but it does tend to skip over fine lines and texture. The formula is a satin finish rich black and it doesn’t crumble feather or crack. It an be used over top of shimmer and glitter shadow but you will need 2-3 layers over really dense shimmery shades. The biggest issue with this product is that it smudges pretty badly for me. So if you have watery eyes or even just very oily lids this might not be the liner for you especially at this price point. I have drugstore liners that wear better. I really wish it held up well though because the application and packaging are both really great.

this is such an easy liquid liner to use, its fool proof and makes lining the eyes a ease. It reminds me of the brushtip on the Kat Von D but so much more opaque and deep in color. hence the name Deeper. It does not smudge and def doesnt fade like the KVD Trooper. I love how its matte and isnt shiney like the Stila Stay all day. It doesnt transfer like the Dior On Stage. Easier to use than Mac Brush Stroke. Signature de Chanel is actually a really good one too but the Tom Ford one gives me more control. i wish it wasnt so expensive. Its about 64 dollars with tax and i hate to say it but i am okay with that.It saves me time and headaches in the morning, reduces my eyelining anxiety to 0, also lets me do the most beautiful wing that i couldve never achieved with any other liner, so yes i will buy this again
Edit- After having this while summer arrived, i find that it did transfer if i line the top of my lips too thick. I am a bit dissapointed honestly. I will be returning this and use the money to get something more worth it.
For the price tag i sadly had go back to my Dior Onstage

If I had reviewed this eyeliner pen 6 weeks ago, it would have been a full five stars across the board. However, my review, after this period, is what you see before you. The liner started beautifully, as it should for the £47 I paid for it. I thought that this would be the end to my problems with other liners that I use a lot, such as the Stila Stay all day, or Kat Von D’s eye liner in ‘trooper’. Both these others are good initially but after 2/3 weeks they either start to dry up, or the bristles splay. I was impressed with this Tom Ford liner. I have used the brush tip more than the other end as that is the type of tip I’m used to. It’s tapered and it draws a wing well. I really liked it. I have fairly dry eyelids and I always prime my eyes. I probably used this 6 out of 7 days a week, as I like to wear eyeliner. It has been consistent and fairly black. The tip has remained good, my mornings were drama free when applying my makeup. Apart from this morning. When I took the cap off, I saw two full length splayed hairs on the brush tip. When I applied the liner, it was drier….it skipped! I am gutted. It has started to dry up, after 6 weeks. I could use the other end and will probably do that, but the other tip is different and not as controllable. I’m bitterly disappointed and will never purchase again as cannot justify 6 weeks wear for that cost.

This eyeliner is not worth the money. The formula is too thin and worst of all it transfers and smudges like crazy on my oily hooded lids, even with primer. That is enough for me to never wear this eyeliner again. I also only ever used the thinner side of the pen so I never used the other end. Just not worth the money when I’m looking for a liquid eyeliner that stays all day.

Expensive, but worth every single penny.
Having tried most of Tom Ford’s makeup line, I must say that if you ever want to invest in one of his products, let it be Eye Defining Pen. It is the most bulletproof, pitch-black, insanely good liquid liner ever invented. You get two applicators here, one is smaller (detail work) and one is an actual brush, which is my absolute favourite. Imagine not having to dip into any ink or gel pot; there is always the right amount of product in it. Similarly to Japanese swords (by the way this liner is made in Japan), this liner will cut through them haters in one go. I couldn’t recommend it enough.
Oh! It never crumbles, feathers, smudges or anything like that. For those of you curious to see unedited swatches and read more about other Tom Ford bestsellers, here is my in-depth review ( Hope it helps!

I am just really getting into luxury MU. Chanel & Charlotte Tilbury <3 them but then there’s TF$. The very best of the best. This has 2 tips which are both perf for the feline flick. I didn’t “want” to love this w its hefty price tag. But it’s awesome lasts well not as waterproof as my MAC liquidlast but I had been using elf for awhile which isn’t waterproof. This will change ur wing game!!! It is inky black, no smudging smudge/water resistant (doesn’t claim to be waterproof) it would seem. I’ve laughed so hard I had tears but this is the kind of liner that won’t smear as long as you don’t rub your eyes w your fists. I haven’t tried it in rain. I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said about this eyeliner. Summary: It works great, isn’t WP (doesn’t claim to be), makes excellent wings (I struggle w wings. If you do too you should get this) & if you have a spare $57 around you should get this!
Spoil you, treat yo-self gurl!! I’m sorry I tried luxury makeup because stuff like MAC & UD pale in comparison now. My advice is you don’t know what ur missing if u don’t try it! Trust me is a Pandora’s box if you get into luxury MU. Beautylish has this & generous return policy if you don’t like it (90 days iirc). Ignorance is bliss. I either like really high makeup or really cheap makeup. There is no in between w me. This will G L A D L Y replace my elf liquid liner. It is true luxury & excess. If you want to make wings easier you need this!!! Will rebuy!! Please TF$ come out w a waterproof eyeliner! I have 4 of the Pencils (onyx, espresso & mink along w highlight Pencil soleil blanc 01). I enjoy them all! Kate Middleton always wears eyeliner on her LLL so I try not to neglect that & liquid isn’t suitable for waterline so those pencils are great too! (#shamelessplug)
Grade: A- (one tick off for not being WP & price)

Firstly, I have oily lids and watery eyes. I love the Kat Von D but for whatever reason, I continue to try new eyeliners. I bought this because something that cost so many $$$ must be at least a little better. The reviews seemed to point to a yes.
The GOOD: I reall like the applicator and packaging. The pen itself is weighty and looks sleek. The felt tip end is small but wasn’t rough or ?draggy? like I find some can be. The brush tip stayed together and was the perfect point between stiff but still flexible. Very pleased with the hand swatches and even the application until…
The BAD & UGLY: I find the formula of this product to be akin to the NYX eyeliner I hate so freakin much. It is black but very thin. The liner travelled all over my face within minutes of applying. I even cleaned it up with a Q-tip and went out for the day. I literally looked like myself around the year 2000 when I listened to The Used and drew pictures of things dying. The eyeliner didn’t appear to ever truly dry down. I looked like a hot mess but not even in a cool way. The eyeliner seeped into my eyes turning them grey, ran down my face and slid into the bags of my eyes. I tried to apply this again because, even though it hasn’t happened before, it must be me. Tom Ford wouldn’t do me like this (even though he has on every occasion he has had a cosmetic chance). Oops, He did it again.
The Bottom Line: I returned this item to Sephora. Hopefully, I have learned my lesson. Not worth the money, get the NYX if you want to try this formula. Kat Von D if you want an eyeliner that stays all day and doesn’t discriminate against ageing oily allergy prone eyes.

I went on a luxury makeup splurge to see if it was worth the price, and this was the eyeliner I chose. It has a nice weight to it and I love how there is too different sized tips, the thin one is what I use most of the time and I can easily create wings, and it’s very pigmented. Unfortunately it smudges very easily and I have to use black eyeshadow to set it otherwise I get raccoon eyes. If this was a drugstore or even a mid range priced product I would buy it again, but if I’m paying $70 Canadian I expect perfection. I hope they change the formula or come out with a waterproof version.

I am a fundamental doubter of luxury makeup, but this has changed my mind. I’ve tried many black liquid and gel liners from different brands, including: tony moly, stila, kvd, makeupforever, mac’s liquid liner, and none compare to this. Yes, this thing is expensive and the only reason why I considered was because Sephora was offering a discount and has a decent return policy. The eyeliner is BLACK; with the others, I often had to layer and it got crusty and smudged as the day went on. This stays black all day and does not smudge. I love the tips on both ends; they have the perfect amount of flexibility and stiffness the little one is good for getting in the inner corners of my eyes and for correcting mistakes in my wings.
