I liked the way this product made my hair feel, but was interested why there was no set temperature on any site (Ulta, the Joico site, etc). I had to ask the question three different ways to get an actual response out of Joico, who purposely tip toed or tried to redirect their answer. The answer is – this product is NOT HEAT RATED. Joico suggests ‘layering this product’ with another one of their products that IS heat rated if you need protection and that ‘they have no further information’ on the heat rating for this product. All I can say is yikes. You could easily be doing more damage to your hair than good by using this.
