None of Cetaphil’s SPF options are a home run (the SPF 50 is a ghastly, greasy nightmare, and the Derma Control is not terribly moisturizing), but this one has a pleasant, only slightly shiny finish once it absorbs. I’ve gone back to it many times over the years.

Against the common belief, CETAPHIL IS NOT GREAT FOR SENSITIVE/ACNE skin. Please don’t use it if you have sensitive skin or problem with acne breakouts.

Why would this have a bad rating? This actually moisturizes your skin. The spf should be higher, but if you want a sunscreen that moisturizes and protects this is it. All you need to do is pick up the Daily Facial Cleanser, the low Foaming one, get the lotion in a huge bottle, and buy this sunscreen. Next, cleanse skin with the cleanser, apply the lotion. Wait an hour and apply the sunscreen. Then apply makeup. Skin is now moisturized for the morning time. Cetaphil is one of the few brands that actually moisturizes. Cerave is great for eczema and psoriasis bc people with these skin conditions suffer excess yeast build up/fatty acid build up. That’s why you itch. But if you have dry skin, Cetaphil is your answer.

This is greasy yes and sits on the skin as described by many others.
Instantly my concealer was separating. I dont purposely put spf under my eye either so weird. By the end of the day my make up looked so so awful. I cant begin to describe how bad and greasy my make up looked.
Anyways dont buy. I’ll be using this on my body only. Not suitable for face.

I think I found my new go-to daily face moisturizer. Everything about this is perfect… the lotion has a nice feeling…rich enough without being heavy…glides on…makes my skin have that glowing, ‘plump’ moisturized look.
The pump dispenser works nice and smoothly. SPF15, NO fragrance, non-comedogenic. What more could a gal want??!! And this can likely be easily found at most or all drugstores.
Before this, I was buying Earth Science moisturizer with SPF, but I had to make a special trip to a healthfood type store to find it. No more! 😉

Not in love with this product at all. It never seems to really sink into my skin, a problem I’ve never had before since my skin is so dry. I live in NC where it’s hot and humid. As soon as I step outside this stuff starts to melt and my face becomes an oil slick. An issue I’ve never ever had before! Not only that it’s begun clogging my pores. I have little raised clogged pores around my nose and a few on my forehead. I’ve never had that happen and now I don’t know how to get rid of them?
